My seven year old loves this zoo. The zoo avoids looking "industrial" by seldom using cages instead using natural terrain to keep the animals from the visitors. A great deal if you buy an annual pass and go a number of times a year. More

Full Disclosure - we only attended because my daughter is fascinated with Manatees and we had struck out at the Manatee Viewing Centre south of Tampa. I had located this Zoo as a 'Plan B" due to its Manatee Rescue Hospital. The facility was great! - Easy to locates and find - Decent Parking - easy to navigate park layout... More

We have had annual passes for years. With passes you don't feel like you have to do an 8 hour day to get your monies worth. We like to stop in for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. It's also a plus that the rides are now included with the passes. More

We had a fun visit to the Zoo and our grandson loved all the animals. He took his first camel ride & had a blast. He was so excited as he went to each area to see the animals. More

My wife and I recently took our two boys, 3 and 6, to Lowry Park Zoo while visting nearby Sarasota (not a bad drive, by the way). We could not have been more impressed. We had originally planned to go to Busch Gardens, but found that it was going to cost us nearly $350 for four of us for the... More
