I can see why parents magazine rated this place so well. The entire zoo caters to children in a great way. Plenty for all ages, you going to walk a lot but there are plenty of places to relax and eat. Make sure you attend the shows and ride the train type thing ride. If you like this zoo make... More

We went to Lowry Park Zoo with our daughter, son in law and 2 g-kids...ages 3 & 5. We live in Maryland but growing up in Tampa, Lowry Park was part of my childhood. I really wanted to share the experience with my family. During my day I remember Sky King's Songbird being on display and it was not a... More

This is a beautiful well kept zoo a great place for family. Florida residents get a discount even, we did today. I would say. The only negative was the jungle safari ride they say it's about 20 min but from what I could see they only had one tram and we waited 50 min and it looked like it would... More

I love this zoo! It is beautiful place to spend the day with or without kids. I especially love it at Christmas, as they decorate everywhere....it is a beautiful winter wonderland.

We've had annual passes since our first child was 1 year old and he just turned 7. I love this zoo and so do the kids. We go at least once a month or so and never get bored. There are tons of animal exhibits, lots of hands-on activities and enough rides to keep the older kids happy. Excellent, excellent... More

Always a great place to go, have some fun and learn a few things at the same time. Boo at the Zoo is great for the little ones too.

A good zoo by any standard, Lowry Park takes themselves to the task each year. Tweaking displays, visitor experiences, and additions. Holiday themed events, summer and school break programs, along with a staff that is happy to accommodate guests ~ it's no wonder that it's been voted one of the best family zoos in the US!

This is well laid out zoo. They put a lot of effort into building structures like ramps and platforms so the eye level is always changing and giving you up close access to the animals. Plenty of natural trees for shade was a big plus for non Florida natives like myself. There were a couple of stations where you could... More

Talk about a great zoo. So many cool animals that are well taken care of. The animal's habitats are very clean and all the animals look healthy. You can feed giraffes and ride camels. The assortment of animals is astonishing. I was very pleased with my visit at this zoo. It's a place to remember. So many amazing things to... More
