Guests will find many interactive exhibits and opportunities to get closer to wildlife -- feed a giraffe, hold a lorikeet, touch a stingray and more. The Zoo's Manatee and Aquatic Center expands the traditional boundaries of a zoo, focusing efforts on critical care for injured, sick and orphaned wild manatees. Also at the zoo: splash ground water play areas, wild rides, educational shows and restaurants. Zoo daytime admission prices are: adults - $24.95; seniors (60+) - $22.95; children (ages 3-11) - $19.95; and children 2 and under are free. Daytime admission includes unlimited amusement rides. Any City I go too, I always go too the Zoo. This Zoo is in the Top 3 for me. The animals were beautiful and well cared for. This Zoo has a very natural landscape. Don't miss feeding the birds or the Safari ride, if you don't want too wait in line wait intil the last ride.

This zoo was nothing more than average. Every corner you turn it's blocked off for renovations. There were absolutely zero staff members walking around or at any of the exhibits to tell you anything about the animals. And all of the enclosures/cages/pools were a mess. Like they don't ever get cleaned. Very unhappy with visit and won't be back.

What a fun place and a great place to walk off those extra holiday calories. Lots to see and friendly people working in this exotic little space in Tampa.

It was our Saturday in Tampa. It's a lovely zoo. It is a little pricey to eat and all the extras. We stayed away from paying for all the extras like feeding the sting rays and petting the giraffe. We enjoyed our time seeing endangered animals. It's nice and clean and a pleasant outing . I recommend it for all... More

It's a small zoo. Like most small zoos, it's easier to see all the animals (they have less space to hide). They have a few exhibits that stand out - manatee tank (and watching them get fed is a treat), a sting ray touching station (though there are a lot of these in Fla), and you can feed giraffes and... I have lived in this area for over 40 years and this was my first visit to this zoo and since it was such a lovely day spent there I do not know why I did not visit it sooner. The park was very compact in size so it took us only 5 hours(lunch included) to see it all. The... More

My sister lives in Fla and whenever I visit we go here. They have been doing changes to the zoo, so it is nice to see your money being put back in to the zoo. I was just there last week January 2015, with a friend of mine from Texas and she loved it. They now have a ride that... More

Spent the day at this Zoo yesterday very clean great staff always asking if u need help. The animals are well cared for you can tell. You can nice and close to the animals unlike big Zoos you need a telescope to see the annimals.

We went early morning before catching a late afternoon flight out of Tampa. Wonderful animal exhibits, you could help feed the animals even the giraffes! Lots of information was posted about the animals and whether they were in danger of extinction or not. The variety of animals was impressive with a lot of ones you don't usually see in zoos... More

We liked our visit to the Lowry Zoo very much. Everything is very kid friendly and we were also able to rent a stroller. First, we thought we could make it without a stroller, but our son got tired pretty early and didn't want to walk any more. We visited the zoo right after Christmas, so all the decorations and...
