Very nice location, that shows old Tampa. There are some nice restaurants around like the Columbia or Green Iguana. During nighttime it is a super party location

We were enthralled with our family visit to Ybor City on a cloudy Sunday afternoon! It wasn't so crowded when we first arrived, around noon, but as the day progressed, there was an eclectic group strolling the streets, perusing the numerous shops and hanging out in one of the many cafes. We went on a walking tour, which acquainted us... More

We rode the street car from downtown Tampa to Ybor City. Not sure I would drive there but getting there by trolley was fun. Unique and interesting history that I wouldn't know otherwise. Glad we went but I'm glad I didn't sacrifice something else to go there.

Ybor City is quite a trip! Friday and Saturday nights are always interesting and never quiet. I wouldn't recommend this city for a family, but younger singles and couples will enjoy the atmosphere.

We took a taxi to Ybor from our hotel in Tampa. We started the night at Hogan's but decided to check out Ybor. We ended up at a place called " Gasper's Grotto or garage??). It was good then after 2am we ate pizza at Old Manhattan. There are cops all around at night. But yes, use caution as it... More

he surrounding area around this place is a bit scary. In the daytime, nothing was going on except a lot of tourists shopping. We were panhandled a couple of times, had to pay for parking, totally not worth the trip.

Interesting architecture in the area. Many shops, restaurants, and bars to keep you busy. A bit quiet during the day, but that is a good time to explore. Many varied places to eat including Cuban, sports bars, wings, breweries, pizza etc. At night it changes quite a bit with party people. Many clubs open at night that cater to a... More

Some of the buildings look ornate with the iron balconies like on NOLA. It is in need of updating some of the buildings which are closed. It then would be vibrant. There are small shops and restaurants. A nice stroll down the main street will take about hour (maybe longer) looking into the shops. It's not much to see. I... More
