we didn't care for the all the non speaking English people that made up the area. our waiter was gay we didn't care for that. it was a slow day . he gave more attention to his partner than us he also worked there too. I'm old school I don,t need to see this but our country is accepting this... More

Ybor City was nice driving through during the Christmas holiday. The main street in Ybor was all lit up and it looked real fun. I didn't go into any place as I was with my daughter however it looks like a bar crawl of a place with a lot of restaurants too and a night life. I'd recommend going if... More

Street parking is difficult to find, so just park in the parking garage. For a middle aged non-smoker, this place had little to offer. There were a few eclectic shops that were interesting-- clothing and antique-y things. Personally, I think my time was wasted here.

a place that WAS done by immigrant is now a pile of bars and individuals with bad faces ... Ybor City museum is definitely bad, very sloppy and does not truly represent the history of the city. definitely a not recommended place to visit. is a real shame

Place for the night scene...not midday when we were there. Lots of restaurants and bars. Lots of history. Several places they still roll Cuban cigars. Interesting to walk into one of the cigar shops and see how the cigars are rolled by hand and learn about the history of the area. We were told it's really hopping until the wee... More

Fun place, a bit of "history" and also the feeling of it. Easy parking, cheap places to eat, good places to eat and still the feeling of a nice district.

Nice to visit an older part of Tampa. Nice atmosphere in the evening. Loads of bars and restaurants to choose from. Grab a table outside and just sit back with a drink and watch the world go by.

Skip desert. Enjoy a hand rolled cigar at this quaint, small scale cigar factory. Yanko is the proprietor. Steve is the general manager. Come in for a satisfying smoke and walk out an enthusiastic fan of Tabanero. Conveniently located at Ybor Centro.

It's a young person's paradise. It was Tampa's cigar, and Cuban cultural and historical area. Near downtown, easy parking, with lots of places to eat cheaply, bars, T-shirt shoppers.
