The aquarium was a great time. The exhibits were well laid out and informative and the educators did an excellent job, especially at the touch tanks. They were so patient with the young visitors that sometimes asked the same question they had just answered and all visitors were treated with respect. The only negative was that it could be hard... great "hands on' exhibits and very intelligent staff. The layout was well done and quite informative. The design keeps your interest and the eye level viewing place you right in the tank with the sea life. Plenty to see here and worth every penny of the admission.

This aquarium had a variety of exhibits. There were 3 adults and 3 children in our group with plenty of things to see and do for all of us. One in my family rented a wheelchair but had a difficult time since one whole area was not wheelchair accessible. The elevator was horribly slow. The touch tanks were a favorite... More

The Florida Aquarium is nice if you are looking for something to do for an hour or so. It's not huge, but there are some fun exhibits, and the facility is pretty clean. My kids' favorite part is the water area outside. I think they prefer that over the actual aquarium. :) I think the aquarium is worth visiting, but... More

This aquarium wasn't as big as I had imagined, but it was clean, well maintained and the staff were great. The parking lot is a little walk away, but not terrible. The day we visited, their parking machines were down so we got to park for free, but normally, I believe parking is $6/car. The aquarium itself has an impressive... More

Was not impressed. Not much to see and was in and out in about a little over an hour! Not much sea life for a big aquarium in Tampa! Must find something better! Left disappointed! Staff was nice and what exhibits were there were ok!

Not much to see for the price of admission. Good place for a hot Florida summer day, easy to stay cool and dry. My highlight was the Megaladon photographer, Jared. He was so nice to my autistic grandchild and worked hard to get a fantastic shot - yes, this cost me another $30.00, but to me it was worth it.... More

We visited here last spring and had a camp-out for Scouts. The stingrays and sharks were most exciting. We have visited the Miami Sea Aquarium and other zoos with aquariums, so the rest of this facility was not exciting. It is not very large and not very impressive. My boys enjoyed their first camp-out next to the aquarium animals, and,... More

We love this aquarium. Its location by the cruise ship docks makes it possible to visit after a cruise while waiting for your flight time. We think they did a great job with the sharks and the reef fish. I think they have a great seahorse collection also. The kids outdoor waterpark play area is a nice touch also.
