This is a beautifully designed aquarium. Parking was easy ($6 per day) and a short walk away from the building. The exhibits are well presented with lots of guides available for questions. There is plenty here to keep all ages entertained. For young children there is a wet play area (currently being refurbished) which should add to their enjoyment.

The Aquarium is one of the selections on the Attractions Pass. I am glad I visited because Downtown Tampa is a great destination with Riverwalk, a trolley, and cruise ships. I enjoyed the salad bar at the Aquarium but the exhibits were crowded with lots of children. Families appeared to like this place but I found it claustrophobic and odoriferous.... More

Overpriced and under-interesting. Worth one trip--little kids will love the splash park area--but I regretted buying the season pass, which also was expensive.

The aquarium is located near the port and is a better than average facility of its kind. Some aquariums can be damp and dark. This one is light, well laid-out, and enables you to get close to the fish and fowl. There even are a couple of lemurs to be found.

Nice afternoon spent at the aquarium. It's right at Channelside so you can wander around and eat lunch! There is an old America war ship behind the aquarium yiu can also check our for a small fee. The aquarium is great for kids - they have a section where kids can touch sea creatures.

Very nice aquarium. My kiddos loved the outdoor play areas including the water guns and touching the stingrays.

Me and my husband really enjoyed our recent trip to the florida aquarium! The highlight for us was definitely the boat trip across Tampa bay harbour to spot dolphins and other local wildlife. The guide was incredibly knowledgable and gave lots of really interesting info on the local area and wildlife. You have to pay extra to do this on... More

The Florida Aquarium is a top notch attraction. The price of admission helps keep it maintained and helps further research. It has a great layout and abundant wildlife. Very education so be prepared for the school groups. The kids went wild when the sharks swam by. Ample parking nearby at a small price.

One grandmother, one Mom and one toddler had a great visit here - it's well-planned and full of intriguing surprises...educational and enjoyable. Really liked the way the Aquarium is laid out so that moving through is easy and not confusing. The toddler had a great time and it felt safe and comfy to have him walking around there. Thumbs up!
