It seemed a little expensive for the size, but, it was a very nice aquarium. We enjoyed our visit and spent several hours going through the different exhibits. Towards the end of our stay, we went outside and watched the cruise ships depart.

One of those great hands-on experience type of aquariums so well suited to children. It was fun stroking the horseshoe crabs, stingrays and starfish and there were some beautiful birds flying around in the recreation of the Florida wetlands section. Don't miss either the enormous Goliath Grouper fish - quite a sight. All this fun though comes at a price... More

The Florida aquarium is an exceptional find. Wonderful exhibits, displays and FISH! They give a discount to "state employed" teachers, but not state university professors. Same Union, same paycheck, what gives? Really sours my view.

I've been to several aquariums including in Canada and in France, and I would have to say that this was one of the nicest ones. They had a really nice collection of different species and the layout was good. What I liked the most about it is that they had many species that other aquariums don't have. They also had... More

This aquarium, while not very large, has awesome display of Florida natives (ducks, birds as well as fish). There are areas where people can pet the sea creatures.

Good staff presented programs to go with well-stocked marine-life. Beautifully maintained tanks! Program including divers in tank was very interesting.

We appreciate they can't guarantee spotting dolphins... but it would be great if they'd consider raising price by 10-15% (Since they claim "In fact, we see dolphins 85-90% of the time!" on website) and giving refunds if no Dolphins were spotted. This was a 'dolphin cruise', not a 'scenic harbor cruise'... Even though we didn't see any dolphins, we did... More

The aquarium held the attention of the entire group...ages 53 to 3! I love the sea horses exhibit. We touched stingrays, horseshoe crabs and a starfish. Loved it!

My grandchild is apparently afraid of dark rooms and there was a portion of Aquarium that had a dark corridor which we could not go down to see a lot of the place. What we did see was nice but we missed out on a lot. I think it would be GREAT for everyone except grand children like mine that... More

Recently took my daughter to the Baltimore Aquarium in MD and figured we would check out the Florida Aquarium to compare. Well the FL Aquarium rocks. Very well laid out and easy to get around. If you have mobility issues then there are several areas that seem to be inaccessible to you. I like that the Aquarium focuses mostly to... More
