It's a nice place to take the whole family or a date. I loved the experience of touching the beautiful sting rays, starfish and sea urchins. Taking the dolphin cruise doesn't guarantee you'll get to see a dolphin. It's a gamble that didn't pay off for us. I definitely recommend the aquarium but not the dolphin cruise unless you're comfortable... More

Been to many aquariums and this one was...very nice (not great). Seemed very clean and and well maintained for the animals!! So hats off. The variety was lacking in colorful tropical fish comparatively to other aquariums but it was diverse as far as mangrove fish, sea horses, sea dragons, etc. There is a fantastic coral reef tank with incredible size.... We visited here during our yearly family vacation with the grandchildren. Great family fun! The grandchildren especially enjoyed the water play area. Clean, well-kept. Educational and informative for all ages. We live on the Atlantic side of the Florida Peninsula, and will definitely make the trip to Tampa again t visit the Florida Aquarium.

After living in Tampa for three years, my husband and I finally had a chance to visit the Florida Aquarium. We were very impressed with the layout and design of this fantastic attraction. Enjoyed the "Florida-centric" exhibits, as well as the more exotic areas (Madagascar, Australia). Caught a live show and it was very well done...enjoyed watching the divers... We... More

The Florida Aquarium is a fun and educational place for all ages. My husband and I are in our 40's and have no kids or grandkids, but we purchased an annual pass to the Florida Aquarium and visit often. We love to watch the River Otters, see the Ring-tailed Lemurs, and walk through all the exhibits. Most of all, the... More

The place is extremely family friendly, it's educational and fun, it's like a huge green room with birds flying over your head and looking at fish in the water. You can tell this place is high quality and well done

Mine is a family of avid animal lovers and this aquarium was a treat! Visually appealing and well cared exhibits showcase amazing animals of land and sea. The animals seemed very well adjusted, healthy and HAPPY! The staff was very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed their jobs. A treat! Bravo!

This is a nice aquarium, not as good as the Long Beach Aquarium, but fairly priced with lots to do. Makes for a great day!
