Played here during the week recently. Course is in pretty good shape overall. Nice range and practice green, bar & grill area seemed nice but we didn't find out. Staff was very friendly helping us get set up and ready to go after a weather delay.
While the course was probably a 7/10 condition wise, the main thing holding it...

Southwood's golf course is by far the best in Tallahassee. It is both challenging and forgiving. The course is very well maintained and they have really good weekday rates - usually under $40 with a cart. The restaurant is very well run and the veranda is the perfect place for Sunday brunch. They have meeting rooms that I have used...

My daughter had her wedding at Southwood Plantation House. Very beautiful grounds, beautiful southern house. I would highly recommend having a wedding there.

We had around 35-40 people for a catered event at the clubhouse, and Southwood was nothing short of amazing! The staff was super helpful and friendly. The decor was tasteful. In addition, the food was amazing! I couldn't have asked for a more delicious meal or a better event. I would recommend them to anyone looking to host a social...
