Wow is really all I can say for this place, my family and I went here just to kill some time figuring it wouldn't be all that great since it was in the winter time. Boy were we wrong, sure the flowers weren't all in bloom but the entire place is just so picturesque that you could come here any... More

On a cold windy day is was not a great place to visit, but there is really not much of interest in this city, The house is just a small lodge. Great place to play in the lake and have a picnic. The gardens were nice and the place is well kept. It is just $6.00 per person.

The gardens are beautiful! I thought the price was very reasonable. It would have been nice to see labels/plaques identifying the plants, but at such a low price point, it's really not that big a deal. The park is beautifully maintained.

We really like the Maclay after dark events we have been to over the years. This years Winter event is no exception. Walking through the cool gardens with the votive s and lighting, and the carolers, with warm cider is really so very nice! The Christmas tree at the house decorated simply with white lights, and red and white camellia... More

Really a place to just walk and relax and enjoy beautiful gardens, ponds and the lake. Seasonal flowers in bloom in fall and spring/summer.

This is a wonderful multi-use state park! There are trails for the trail runners and hikers. The more refined gardens (great for family photos and an event site that often hosts weddings). Up near the front of the park is a place to swim and canoe and a playground for the kids. Overall, there's not much you can't do here!

MaClay is a great little gem in Tallahassee. Since it's a green garden, it's a great place to go in the colder months. My sister was married there. There is also a fun park for swimming, picnicking, and hiking. The bicycle trails were challenging for me, but not for my husband. BTW, if you like to trail ride check out Tom... More

Very beautiful to visit in the spring. So relaxing and peaceful. There is a lake where you can kayak and a small swimming area. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

We visited in the winter when the camellias were in full bloom and it was gorgeous. A lovely walk through Florida gardens with some spring flowers in bloom. Great trees with hanging moss and a lovely small lake. We went through the cottage on the grounds that was filled with antiques and memories of the Maclay's dogs they had shown... More

We went in through the gardens and kind of wandered around aimlessly looking for whatever it is we were supposed to be seeing, I think we were here at the wrong time of year to really enjoy the gardens with the camellias. We then left the gardens and drove past them into the trail section which was more our speed... More
