Go to the Black Archives Research Center and Museum and learn your history

We try to annually visit this museum and attend the events held during the Emancipation week. We travel in from CT and always enjoy the programs offered at this museum.

when we got there on Friday 10am we found a typed paper taped to the glass that stated limited summer hours Wed- Fri 9 am -2 pm. The door was locked and nobody was there.

So much information and detail. A great record of history in the South. Some of the displays were shocking but all were accurate.
