I visited the Bradfordville Blues Club with my son and his girlfriend and had the pleasure of hearing the Selwyn Birchwood Band perform. This was our second visit to this venue and we were all blown away by the amazing talent of Mr. Birchwood and his bandmates. I'm glad we made reservations ahead of time as the place was packed!... If you have ANY interest in music, blues, Americana, off the beaten path experiences, you MUST visit. Constantly searching for the last remains outposts of American culture, Bradfordville hits on all counts. Even if you hate outstanding live blues music, go for the ambiance, inexpensive drinks, hospitality.... This is one of the last. Go before it's gone.

We have been to Bradfordville Blues Club with friends several times, and always had a blast. It's a late night for us, but works out if we plan a late supper and go from there. We were glad they have gone to non-smoking. Really enjoyed seeing Beth McKee perform there!!

If you love the blues or if you love historical sites, you need to visit this classic "juke-joint"! Beautiful Florida vegetation, surrounds this jewel, for the most part unaltered from the days of Son House and Robert Johnson. A bonfire, a smoked fish shack, and damn good music!

Attended my third New Years Party at the BBC. Was ill over the holidays but rested up for a must do occasion and danced the night away (two hours actually) . This is THE place for live music in Tallahassee. Heck! Make that the best venue for live music in the tri-state area.

The Bradfordville Blues Club is unlike any other venue in the Tallahassee area. The building looks gritty and maybe a little worn, but that's part of its charm. The place oozes atmosphere and character. The club is hidden away back in the woods. On your first trip there, if you think that you're lost in the middle of nowhere, then... More

This is the place for the real deal blues... A raw juke joint style no frills venue with a down home feel and high caliber performances presented by Kim and Gary Anton.. two of the greatest people you will ever meet

In a word, it's outstanding. I visited a few blues clubs in the Delta country and BBC seems like it was magically transported from rural Mississippi. The set up matches the club perfectly -- wander down a dirt road, take the left fork and there it is, in all its cinder block glory. Don't expect finding one of those sterile,... More

The BBC isn't quite like any other music venue that I've been to. The crowd skews a little older than most places in Tallahassee (which is a relief for most people over 25). It's tucked away off a dirt road (two, actually), and you can only find it by following the torches and signs. The small size of the venue... More

A Jook Joint is a place known to hold the truths of Blues at heart, where dancing and cavorting can happen, where you see the musicians sweat as they make great music, a place where you sense history yet celebrate the future. The Bradfordville Blues Club (BBC) is one of only few such places in America. Nestled down a dusty... More
