The St. Marks was one of our first bike trails, and remains among the best. Running from the quaint town of St. Marks into the heart of Tallahassee, it offers cyclists a fine ride. I see there are problems with trail rules and rude bicyclists here, but that is becoming common on the more frequently ridden trails. I was hit... More

I love the st marks trail. it is good for bike riding, running, walking, or just looking at nature. there are several dirt trails that fork off the paved trail you can use to hike or take in some more wildlife.

I walk the trail 3 times a week (Wakulla County). I am tired of rude, inconsiderate cyclists who have no clue of trail etiquette. Bikes yield to Pedestrians. I've been clipped and forced to move over by people riding 2, 3 and even 4 abreast - - - both passing and coming towards me. On Sunday, I heard "large group... More

Wide cement trail from south of Tallahassee all the way to the coast at St. Marks. Lunch or dinner awaits you. Shaded trail with the sounds of birds and occasional wild life

A great way to spend a family outing. The trail is very flat and every day the debris is blown off. There are many restrooms and bench's all along the way. There is a place to rent bikes at a very reasonable price. Past Woodville about 3 miles is a really nice park and playground. Who knew. Then you end... More

Rented bikes and enjoyed the trail ride. The beginning is soso passing by industrial plants, etc, but finally separates from the highway onto a nice and peaceful ride.

Flat as a pancake! Well, sometimes there's an altitude change of three of four feet, but most people can handle it. I used it for running. In its favor are the mile markers (which, when the temperature is 90 degrees, seem to get farther and farther apart), against it is its lack of variety (besides being flat, it's mostly straight).... We enjoyed the sights and scenery on our 32 mile ride. A great feature for Tallahassee. It was cool but nice. There were plenty of benches and restrooms on the route and we enjoyed walking around Saint Marks when we arrived. It reminded us of the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville, SC. Would be nice if there were some shops... More

This is an awesome trail I love to take my bike on for the day. Ends at a beautiful view, and by a great place to grab a beer and oysters! I would highly recommend doing it if you have not already.

Canopy of trees keeps the trail cool on a hot day. Not too much traffic. Beautiful surroundings. My favorite place to ride my bike. Plus you can stop at Riverside for lunch or a drink before heading back. Or check out the boat dock and have a picnic instead.
