Nice shooting range. The office staff are very helpful and nice. The range officers can be a bit over-bearing. Nice location and set up though.

I thought this park has a lot to offer. It has a very nice dog park, "mountain bike trails", and street bikes can ride on the road. It has a camping area, for tents or RVs. There are lakes and canals for water activities. There's a shooting range. My favorite part is that right next to the everglades, so sunsets... More

We enjoyed our day at this park, and were able to participate in and/or watch several activities, including RC planes and cars, archery, camping, water skiing, mountain biking, and more. We were a bit let down, however, that there are no hiking trails available. The trails are strictly for bicycles. Other than that, it is a fun area for camping,... More

We brought our pull camper and stayed here 3 months. No discount for longer stays. We had full hook ups and wi fi , which worked well. Water was good. Weekends get a bit noisy and lines to get back in the park. Great bike trails, dog walks, and access to canals and lakes it you have water toys. My... More

Good bike trail just outside the park. Charge to enter on weekends and holidays, otherwise free (at least now).Nice place for a picnic. Watch the model airplanes nearby.

We have a 40ft Prevost Bus that we are camping in. This park has large sites, 50amp electric, water and sewer. There is a large dog park you can join or pay to use daily. The area around the park is clean and friendly with lots of shopping. We are thinking about spending more time here next Jan-March.

The whole park is great but the best thing here is the Mt Bike courses. They are some of the prettiest and most technical in South Florida. This park has something for every level of Mt Biker. This is Mt Bike Heaven.

Our group was on a geocaching vacation in Weston and we noticed that there were a number of caches hidden in Markham Park. Our first visit to the park was on the night of our arrival and we grabbed about 5-6 caches in the dark. The second visit was on the day of departure when we spent a couple of... More

Rarely will you find a park that covers every desire in recreation, this is one that does. In Sunrise west of Fort Lauderdale, here is a park that really has everything. My main interest for going there was to shoot clay pigeon, either Trap or Skeet, but there are many other activities, and everything is manicured. After leaving the shooting... More

This is one of the most wonderful County park in Florida. They have a 3 acre fenced in dog park. One side is for small dogs and the other for large dogs. There is a 10 acre model airplane park. Lakes with canoeing. Paved and dirt bike trails. Many private RV parking and huge area for tents. Some of the... More
