I love this park on the weekends because it offers so many different types of activity opportunities. You can jog or fly your remote control planes or boats, or simply take your dog to the doggie park. There is an access card you must pay for and obtain through park services for the dog park gate. The park is lovely,... More

Bought all the gear thinking that it would be good weather and would be great; however it decided to rain the first night and it was so humid that the mosquitoes formed a virtual blanket over everything. I guess they can't... More

Went for a day trip to find some treasures (geocaching) and had a blast! Wish we would have brought our bikes but saw so much to do and will plan better in the future! We walked around areas in the park while geocaching and saw lots of people disk golfing, biking, picnicing, and flying their airplanes and helicopters. The park... More

I have been visiting Markham Park for the last few months. What a great find this has been. This park offers camp sites, biking trails, a pond for using your jet ski, picnicking areas and shelters, an area with runway for RC controlled airplanes, Frisbee golf and a Target Range featuring Skeet, Trap, Sporting Clays, as well as pistol and... While you have to register and pay for your dog, it is worth it. I drive 45 min each way just to go to this park. I find the other dog parks I have been to are not as kept up and the people don't have as good a handle on their dogs (i.e. if your dogs don't like other... More
