This was our second cruise - we went out in 2012 with Capt. Fred and Jamie during the day. As we sailed homeward, Jamie played the violin and Fred the uke. This time, May 2015, we went out in the evening and lucked out with a moderate breeze and beautiful modulating sunset colors on the clouds. Price has gone up... More

On our last day of our holiday, we decided to book a Sunset Sail on the schooner Lily. It was absolutely fantastic from the crew to the passengers! The Captain Fred was so entertaining and had lots of stories to tell regarding the Lily. We even got to raise the sails which was so exciting. We popped the cork on... More

Every one had a great time. A bucket list item to do in Stuart for your self and a great adventure for you to take your Northern visitors on.

If you don't sail, do sail, or have sailed, do this. If you need speed, loud and crazy, find the pirate cruise. Relaxing, safe, and enjoyable afternoon sail on an historic schooner with an interesting history explained by the informative and humorous captain. We were immensely impressed by the kindness, patience, and welcoming nature of Captain Fred and mate Jamie... More

Nice day, good winds and informative captain. Great event for all 3 of us, one who doesn't swim and who (beforehand) was somewhat worried, and 2 who have done something similar, but on a larger boat. The Lilly was large enough to make the non-swimmer comfortable, but small enough to feel the speed that is less noticeable on a larger... More

Spend a couple hours of fun sailing on a restored two masted schooner on the St. Lucie River. The vessels owner / operator provides a nice history of the vessel during the ride. Really nice couple of hours on the water out in the sun. Recommendation to the owner - to make a relaxing afternoon a great trip - sail... More

The Schooner Lily is a beautiful boat manned by Capt Fred and First Mate Jamie. Our book club stumbled upon the Schooner when we were looking for something to do in Stuart on a beautiful February day. We were able to bring on a picnic (including wine) and enjoy a sail along the St. Lucie river. The crew was so... More

We booked this as an excursion to do in Stuart as we were meeting friends. This rivaled those of bigger cities. The staff were incredibly fun, patient, and helpful. The location had changed temporarily because the city was repairing the docks and though the construction was not visible, they walked us through where to go. We got the best ride.... More

My husband and I had a wonderful first sailing trip aboard the Lilly, it was very relaxing. We enjoyed watching the sails being raised and lowered by Captain Fred and first mate Jimmy while learning about this ship. I would definitely recommend this sailing trip especially if you have never sailed before it is an experience.

The Lilly is an old Boston Schooner. I felt as if I were back in the days when my ancestors crossed the Atlantic as I watched the sails being raised(with the help of crew as well as passengers). The captain was very informative as he gave us many facts about sailing, about the ship, about the area(s) we were passing... More
