We had an absolutely lovely evening as guests of Captain Fred, his charming first mate Jamie, and little Rowan aboard the Schooner Lily. Fred shared the history of the ship and his labor of love in keeping her afloat. We were lucky enough to see a gorgeous sunset and hear some beautiful music as well. I recommend this trip to... It was a very enjoyable boat ride. The crew and people onboard made it a fun environment. The crew offered lots of interesting trivia and conversation about the boat and sailing in general, and they tried to involve the passengers by letting them hoist the sails or stand by the wheel. Passengers could either chat up the other passengers or... More

Great crew. Explained many details of the ship and area. Very relaxing cost effective outing. Would do it again.

Capt. Fred and Mate Jimmy took us out for a sunset sail on the St. Lucie River. It was a perfect day, with enough breeze to give us a great ride. Capt. Fred discussed the history, old and recent, of the Lily, a 56' wooden sailboat. He also indicated interesting points along the shore. The quiet of the sail is... More

This old sailing boat and its delightful owners provide a wonderful sail on the St. Lucie River. My husband and I have done both daytime and sunset sails. Both are nice. You can bring your own wine and cheese

We were a group of four adults and four children, a mix of Florida residents and visitors from England. We had a great time, the kids saw dolphins, the other passengers were friendly, the crew very capable. The ride was just long enough, just under two hours, long enough to enjoy snacks and drinks, but nobody had to use the... More

This was our second cruise - we went out in 2012 with Capt. Fred and Jamie during the day. As we sailed homeward, Jamie played the violin and Fred the uke. This time, May 2015, we went out in the evening and lucked out with a moderate breeze and beautiful modulating sunset colors on the clouds. Price has gone up... More

On our last day of our holiday, we decided to book a Sunset Sail on the schooner Lily. It was absolutely fantastic from the crew to the passengers! The Captain Fred was so entertaining and had lots of stories to tell regarding the Lily. We even got to raise the sails which was so exciting. We popped the cork on... More

Every one had a great time. A bucket list item to do in Stuart for your self and a great adventure for you to take your Northern visitors on.

If you don't sail, do sail, or have sailed, do this. If you need speed, loud and crazy, find the pirate cruise. Relaxing, safe, and enjoyable afternoon sail on an historic schooner with an interesting history explained by the informative and humorous captain. We were immensely impressed by the kindness, patience, and welcoming nature of Captain Fred and mate Jamie... More
