I love this beach. Never over crowded, very peaceful, nice concession stand. Love to go there and watch the sunsets!! Just make sure it's high tide when you go.

This isn't a huge beach but is a very nice beach for families. Everything you need is there: charcoal grills, sandy beach, clean rest rooms, pavilions with picnic tables, and a concession stand that appears to be open year round. You can't rent chairs or umbrellas but there are plenty of palm trees around for shade. The parking lot is... More

Pine Island may not be a huge park; but, that is a major plus when you want to have a day of fun with your family. Beautifully kept up beach park that has so much to offer for everyone - large sandy beach area for sunning, covered tables with benches offering a grill at the end of each one, great... More

Parking is always a challenge here but the beach is well maintained and the restrooms are always clean. Skip the restaurant and pack a lunch! Much better value

As long as you have clear expectations, this is a neat place to visit. It's about the only "beach" in or near Spring Hill. It's the size of several city blocks in a circle. The water is very shallow (and consequently usually a little too warm for me), so it's a good place for kids to play in the water.... More

Great for families and children. It's clear and shallow. Kids enjoy looking for crabs and other sea creatures. It has playground, snack bar and restrooms. Best time to come is in evening about 6 pm. It is very busy on weekends and summer.

This little man made beach is nice for small children with a nice playground. They even have a small snack bar with dogs/burgers, etc. It's very popular and quite often is full, especially on the weekends. Many come here for the cool sunsets.

Great little spot in Hernando County. Yesterday was our first time there, but it won't be our last. The water is clear, and shallow, so it is ideal for younger kids. Watch out for sharp rocks over near the observation post, they are clearly marked, so that should not be a problem. Parking is $5 per car.
