The springs here are more like a river with a large swimming hole then another river. You can float down the whole thing several times in one afternoon as long as you don't mind walking back up to the start again. We swim it with a mask and snorkel in the early morning to see fish and other critters under... More

Great Sunday afternoon easy trail walks. We took our three kids ages 10, 9, and 5 and we enjoyed looking for birds and snakes. Trails are sandy and uneven so may be treacherous for anyone with balance issues. Not good for strollers. Trails are shared with horseback riders and mountain bikers but it is wide enough for all. We were... More

This is not Rock Springs where you can swim, that's at Kelly Park. This is Rock Springs Run where there is 14 miles of serene hiking trails. You can also ride bikes or horses on the trails. The landscape is amazing and all natural Florida.. The opposite of a golf course. It is very private and hardly ever anyone here.... More

We had a blast at Rock Springs while camping at Kelly Park. The natural "lazy river" was a nice change of adventure especially when you are used to visiting the theme parks. My kids really enjoyed searching for shells and shark teeth. You could spend an entire day here. Make sure you get here early as yet springs fill to... More

We visited the Rock Springs Run State Reserve on a day trip from Orlando. The entrance was off of State Road 46. There was a $3.00 self pay station at the entrance but no map or information. The road ended at a closed gate with a large grassy field for parking. There was a trail map board at the lot... More

Really fun place to visit over the summer, especially on a hot day. The water current gently pulls you on a tube down the run through a relaxing environment of trees and animals. Then there's the beachy sand area near parking where all the kids enjoy playing.

My children and grand children go there often in the summer. They enjoy tubing down the Run. Great place for picnicking and spending a relaxing day.
