We had year round passes and loved going! It's a very beautiful place where you can see some of the most beautiful springs in Florida. They also have many wonderful native animals.

Alligators, monkeys, birds and flowers on this kayak trip made this trip a heavenly experience. We rented kayaks and had to kayak against the stream (1 mile/hour) and then had an easy paddle back to our beginning.

The park is really going back to nature. The trails are beautiful and cruising down the river was great. We had an opportunity to visit the classroom and see all the stone artifacts they have. It is definitely a beautiful state park.

Love this Park. Old Florida charm, Lot's of animals and Glass bottom boat ride is great. Springs and grounds are beautiful. Prices are very reasonable for both entry and food. Always have great concerts throughout the year.

We bought tickets on line, $36 a person, 4 people. We drove from Orlando, excited to see the park. My husband went there years ago and was excited to show our kids silver springs. We got to park and they told us state bought it up and they are closing in sept, and the only attractions open we're glass bottom... More

We drove from Orlando while visiting there, was an hour and a half drive, got to the gate and the attendant told us a few exhibits were closed while they are remodeling. We paid $57.00 for the two of us, $8.00 for parking, took a glass bottom boat ride, walked to the bear enclosure, and it started to rain. While... More

Drove out of our way to visit the park at Silver Springs, FL. Very little left of what apparently was once a major attraction. Not at all worth the effort! We did enjoy the glass bottom boat ride to view the springs & the attendant water life ... fish, turtles, alligators. The only other operating tour was a "jungle" ride... More

Just visited Silver Springs after a 15 year abscence. What a waste. All the buildings are being pulled down, the staff have low moral and most of the animals have been moved. The Kodiak bears will be gone next month. It is being taken over by Florida State for a Nature Reserve but no one could tell us what that... More

The web site gave no indication that most of the park is closed. Many animals are gone, and it is generally run down. Since we are out of state, we didn't get the Florida discount and they don't accpet the coupons in thier 2013 brochures. We drove so far that we decided to to it anyway. Should have skipped it.

Silver Springs was a go-to spot for my family growing. The park features historic crystal clear water which are said to have healing properties. The water is so clear they've used glass bottom boats for years to give the visitors a first-class view of the wonders below the water. As I remember it the park also has a classic car... More
