We visited the park November 6, 2009. We loved it. The glass bottom boat cruises where beautiful. The tour guides were knowledgable and funny. We saw many different animals. Fish, gators, native water ducks and birds, turtles. The springs were amazing. Very low keyed day. We actually did it all in 1/2 day because we arrived late. We would have... more

The overall value of this attraction was very poor. It was $7/day to park along with $30/adults and $25/kids. They refused a coupon for a discount saying that they no longer partner with the advertiser (although the coupon is not expired). The food is also outrageously expensive, even compared to a Disney theme park. I definately wouldn't recommend taking any... more

Not much has been updated since the park opened decades ago. It will not take a full day but offers 4-6 hours of calm fun. This is a good wholesome get away for all ages but should not be a destination unto itself in your travel plans. If you are expecting a quaint, retro nature park, you will enjoy yourself. more

We truly enjoyed the "natural" setting of this park, seeing turtles, fish and gator in their natural spring environment. The park merely needs to concentrate on this for a wonderful experience. When we went to see their "animal zoo" we were truly disappointed, saddended and appalled at the conditdions these animals are living in. There the Florida Panther who is... more

I hadnt been to Silver Springs in 12 years, so I decided to go back. I think SIlver Springs is something you enjoy when you are older. I love the Glass Bottom Boats, and all the animal attractions. They have a great Bear collection, and lots of gators. The best deal is if someone you like is coming in concert,... more

We had just come in from teh West Coast, were staying in Crystal River and needed a low-key day to get aclimated. Silver Springs Nature Park was perfect. We got there soon after it opened and it never got crowded. It's shaded so it is not so hot. Food is not that expensive compared to other amusement parks. We went... more

First, if it wasn't for their buy one get one free admission special, it would not have been worth the price. BUT, since both my friend and I (we are both in our mid-20s) got in the park for about $38 after taxes, it was money well spent. As far as I know, they have this special all day everyday.... more

We were visiting family for memorial day weekend and we decided to go to Silver springs for the holiday. Since my husband is military he got in for free and the family got in at $15 a head. So we saved a lot of money on the special, but I still dont believe it was worth what we payed. We... more

A recent trip to Silver Springs was a relaxing pleasure.  No roller coasters here, just some boat rides and strolling through the zoo.  I'd note that we got a great 2-for-1 deal, otherwise this would have been too expensive. more

This is a true Florida treasure! I was so happy to find that there is still a place left in Florida that is the same as it was 30 years ago. I had visited as a child and wanted to return with my children. I was so pleased that they loved it even more than DisneyWorld. We had a marvelous... more
