Nice park. A little attention and it would be a great park. Scenery is great. Glass bottom boat ride was excellent. Could be a little longer. Over all I would go back.

Never been here before so I can't be disappointed like some of the reviews I read. I like nature. My boyfriend and I went in thru the second entrance($8) and walked 1 of the trails(swamp trail) and later went to the main entrance to go on the glass bottom bout tour(90 min.) $25 per person. It was hot but enjoyable... More

Was here the end of April. They still have a lot of work to do at park since it was so run down. Took glass bottom boat which I really like and walked nature trail. In a couple years it will be a great place just be patient

Good opportunity to visit an attraction that pre-dates Disney Wprld. The park is a little tired. However, this is part of the attraction. If you visited during the 60's with your parents, you will be able to relive memories of those days. Park was used extensively for production during tv's glory days.

When we went (April 2014) there was still a lot of work that needed to be done on the park. Only half of the former walking trails were open. The area that once lead across the bridge to the Jungle Cruise was completed closed off and there were not all of the buildings near the entrance were open. Even the... More

Took my wife and kids there last week and thought it would be fun. I was wrong. Unless you are looking for a nice nature walk through a time warp back into the early 80's. We went to do the Glass bottom boat ride, which I will say was interesting. Other than that it was horrible. The state took it... More

This place has changed since we were there in 2010. I was kinda disappointed they took out the few tides they had, although I LOVED the glass bottom boat ride. I still believe if you've never been on the glass bottom boats it is very worth a visit.

I took my sons to Silver Springs this weekend. We rented kayaks and went about 3.7 miles down river before returning and seeing the spring head. What a magnificent river! You can see straight down and view all kinds of large fish, bluegill, tilapia, large mouth bass to name a few. Along the river you see turtles, gators, and even... More

I haven't been at silver springs for many years I had heard that they were closed but what really happen was that they turned the park into a state park, they only charge you 8 dollars to go into the parking then another fee to get into the glass boat. I was shocked to see that they took all the... More

We had a great time learning about the springs while riding in the boat. It's very cool to see the bright blue areas where the water is bubbling up out of the ground, and there's a lot of wildlife, too. The guide was very gracious and knowledgeable. Worth the effort to stop here.
