More quieter and relaxing than SK

Pop here go get away from it all. A quiet hidden beach with good car parking and a little picnic area and kiddies playground. Hire a boat from over the road.

We enjoyed our time at Turtle Beach the best! Clear, emerald water, soft sand! Great for kayaks, paddle boarding and snorkeling. Did not want to leave this beach! It was not nearly as overcrowded as the main beach.

We stayed in siesta key but loved this beach. Sand not as beautiful and not as clear water but quiet and few people made it a nice getaway.

Nice quiet beach without the big crowds like Siesta beach. The beach is much more narrow than Siesta beach so you'll trade privacy for a narrower beach

I think it's worth the drive to get to Turtle Beach vs. Crescent Beach. The sand may not be as "Siesta Key white", but it's just as soft and the crowds are CONSIDERABLY smaller than the main beach. There isn't a snack bar, but we packed a cooler and enjoyed a better spot closer to the water and with beautiful... More

We loved the quiet, the scenery and the nature friendly part of the beach. not a great beach for walking--narrow and sloped

We found great shells on this beach but disliked that it was a two-tiered beach. Chairs could be level with parking or down right at the water. Narrow in each area. Sand is dark and course with bits of shell and rocks--complete opposite of Siesta Key/Crescent Beach. The beach is scenic and more quiet, more families rather than Spring breakers.

This beach at the southern end of Siesta Key is a good spot if traffic to Siesta Beach seems too much. There are some nice spots for a picnic. Sand not as nice as Siesta.

We loved how quiet this beach was - not a lot of people at all! And the shells we found were amazing! Not a lot around in terms of facilities but that is what really makes this a treasure. Do check it out!

Discovered this public beach area by accident. It is a beautiful drive around to the beach & the facilities there are really nice. A short distance to the beach from the parking & playground area. Has volleyball nets & other equipment for kids. Seems quiet & secluded. More of a rustic feel & we saw turtles, & birds just feeding... More
