Lots of fun. We saw lots of wildlife, thanks to our knowledgeable guide, Dan. Even first-time kayakers can enjoy this tour. I would go again if I return to this area.

We have been on many Adventure Kayak Outfitters tours, and they have all been excellent. Although we cover some of the same areas , Dan always finds something new to tell us about , from birds and fish to the flora and fauna . We have taken our grand children as young as the age of 6 , and safety... More

Had a blast kayaking with our guide, Dan. We went with my mom and dad, my wife and our two girls who are 4 and 7. We looked for dolphins and manatees the first part of the tour and unfortunately we only saw the nose of a manatee, but nothing is guaranteed in the wild. The mangrove tunnels were very... More

We did our tour (hubby and myself) on Tuesday the 16th at 10am. Dan was our tour guide. We were staying in Siesta Key, so about a 20 min drive to Lido Key. Dan got everything organized and got us down to launching area, very easy to get in and get out into open water. My husband had never kayaked... More

We had a great time. I was a little scared to go through the mangroves even though I have done this before. Hated the thought of one of those little crabs falling on me. Plus I didn't really want to see any other critter. Got stuck a couple of times but just kept on laughing I was having so much... More

This was a great trip through the mangroves. We never did see a manatee or a dolphin but that isn't under the control of the tour company! I can't take stars away because we didn't see wildlife. The tour was well organized, well run, and a very good time. I do wish they had something early in the morning though.... More

From the moment we inquired about an eco jayak tour with this family operated business we were in. Rene was great with the maps and setup and Dan was so knowledgeable about manatees, mangroves, dolphins, and the jumping fish. Smiles, laughs, a great day. Thanks!

Great adventure! My 8 year old and 3 year old girls loved it! As a first timer myself, Dan our guide, made this an easy, fun experience! We started off with a manatee sighting. We saw a ton of birds feeding. They would swim under our kayak and pop up on the other side. I would recommend this to families!

Dan, our guide, was great. We were out for about 3 hrs which just flew by. We learned so much about the area. While we didn't see any manatee, we did get a good look at a dolphin with baby fishing in the shallows. We saw starfish, a giant hermit crab, and a lot of other sea life. Kayaking through... More

Dan made our kayak adventure so much fun. His knowledge of the flora and fauna was immense. We saw a juvenile manatee due to his understanding of the best possible areas for sitings. Before our trip began his calm manner immediately reassured my jitters as a new kayaker. Cannot wait until I can do it again.
