Everything about the beach is fantastic. There is not much parking - June is the very off season in Sarasota...friends tell me that there are fights in the parking lot during the high season (late winter/spring).

The wide flat white sand of Siesta is very hard to beat. That's why it was the top beach in the US last year. Go here often for walks, play or people watching. Parking can be hard in prime season.

The Town needs more parking options for Florida Guests that are staying in other areas. Long hot drive from St Pete - no parking in Siesta Key. Dissapointing.

Nice quiet comfortable beach sand is like babypowder on my feet. Nice quiet place to get away at times. No entertainment though

The sand is so bright here that you really need an umbrella or a cabana to get out of the sun for just a little bit. I can see why it was rated #1 beach in the USA. It is very clean and the sand is crystal white. There is only parking for 800 cars so you need to get... More

It's everything you want in a beach. Only negative is that it's a long walk from the parking lot. It's so clean. Don't miss this.......

The best in the world. White sand every where. Beautiful to play and walk but very little facilty for eating and sitting around. Need to rent a cabana for shelter. Locker room area is pretty basic.

That's where we live when we visit Sarasota. The sand is famous for its whiteness and the fact that it does not get hot in the sun. The beach has lifeguards for safety, picnic tables and a playground in a shady area.

Beautiful white sand, clean water, great amenities at the beach (changing rooms, food, drinks, chair and umbrella rental). I'm short, and could walk out almost 100 yards before it reached my shoulders.
