Came here on my anniversary for some relaxation and found a perfect area to take pictures for the sunset and spend some time with my wife. The water was warm, clear and the beach had beautiful sand.

The most amazing piece of land in existence. Powder fresh sand and peaceful surroundings. Calm waves and crushed sea shells on the shore. Top place to compare to a beach of dreams. Going back plenty of times in our future. Thank you.

The sand on this beach is amazing and unlike any I've been to before - like baby powder. Of course, that makes it incredibly popular, so the crowds pour in. If you can walk a bit to a less-crowded area, that may be helpful. Parking is also an issue, so you'll want to arrive very early if you have to... More

My family and I were excited to visit one of the country's top rated beaches. We had high expectations as we have been to beaches all over the state from Pensacola to the Keys and have seen some great places. When we arrived without a lot of traffic at the beach parking lot, my first thought was that it was... More

This beach has the softest sand I have ever set my feet on... Love the sandbar allowing you to walk right out from the beach to gather shells and even found sand dollars! Water is Caribbean blue and low waves - can't wait to go back! Get there early for parking as there is not a lot

Beautiful, clean beach. Very large, but still fairly crowded near the water. Umbrellas were $17/day +deposit, chairs were $10 +deposit. Food and drink nearby, along with clean public restrooms.

We arrived in the early evening - around 6. Parking was plentiful at that time. There were restrooms but no concessions. Everything was closed and the concessions building and bathroom looked very run down. There was a vending machine for water and soda at $2 each. But... we weren't there for snacks. We were there for the beach, which was... More

We went to visit the 14th best beach in the world. We arrived about 2pm and got parked easily. The beach was still busy, for a quiet day. The sand is lovely and white but overall it was disappointing. There was quite a lot of litter on the beach. The water wasn't as clear as other beaches in the area.... More

I was in Sarasota and heard about this world famous beach so we decided to visit and go snorkeling. After an hour and a half driving through parking lots and not finding a space a local told us the only way to get around was by bike or staying at a hotel on or near the beach. We caught a... More

When people say go early they mean go early. This was rated #1 in USA. The parking lot was so jammed with people looking for a spot and when someone was leaving someone was already there to take it. Drove around for an hour with no luck. Finally just went down the road and found a spot on the street... More
