A most beautiful place to spend vacation time. The sand is as powdery as you can get. People are gracious in sharing space and generally polite as they play on the beach and in the water which is as blue and clear as one would expect on the Gulf Coast.

Crescent Beach adjoins Siesta Key beach; just a quieter end of a beautiful stretch of soft white sand - everyone we met was friendly. Told us the sand never gets hot even in the summer! It was too cool to swim (Feb '14) but was still nice to sit on the beach for several hours each day and take long... More

The beach is beautiful, but he week we were there the seaweed rolled in..... The water was NOT as clear as usual, & fishy smelling! We we're told this time of the year is known for seaweed, now WE know!

This is my favorite spot along the Siesta Key. There is the problem with parking...but not if your staying there on vacation. There are gorgeous whole shells to be had and the water is spectacular. There are gorgeous flat rocks you can walk around the end of the crescent area. This is not great if your looking for the big... More

Sand like fine sugar...beautiful. Some shells right at shore but not enought to put one off. Quite a bit of seaweed on shore this time. Haven't experienced this amount before. Very crowded at times but worth going.

Beautiful sandy white beach. The water was very clear and we had the opportunity to see several dolphins swimming off shore. Only disappointment were the weeds washing up on shore that caused a slight fishy odor and prevented you from sitting right on the shore line.

Crescent Beach suffers from a lack of parking, but that actually turns into a positive by limiting the crowd. I think many of the visitors actually stay in beachfront accommodations. Like Siesta Beach, Crescent also has a vast area for beach sports with sand that stays cool in the sun.

This is the BIGGEST softest whitest beach i have ever seen or been too. I would say 100 yards across or more. Very easy walking around the shoreline. Of course it's crowded too nice not to be. And parking is crazy. But we will definitely be back

Has the best sand in the world, welcoming water and lots of space. Water clarity has been magnificent and public beach construction is almost complete
