Lovely beach, that in June, did not have too many people. Very family friendly with people just having fun. Nice white sand.

Crescent Beach is a fabulous beach - the sand is NEVER hot!! And rubbed between the fingers, the sand feels like talcum powder. (One has to go out very early to find decent shells, which vary from day to day.) The beach is nicely kept and a pleasure to walk or build a sand castle. Have never been on a... More

Many, Many memories have been given to us on this beach, the hotels around and condo's are older yet in decent shape. Nothing on Siesta Key is run down like in other area's such as Ft. Myers Beach. Great place for small shells and a nice place to enjoy the sunset!

We booked to stay at crescent beach following much research on trip advisor and official American websites. Although the sand is the most amazing shade of white I've ever seen, there's a lot of seaweed in the sea, and the crowds?!!!! On all the pictures we saw during our research, we never saw one with SO many people on it!!... More

Probably the best sand of any beach I have been to, including most of the Caribbean Islands. It's like talcum powder and never gets hot to walk on. Not the cleanest water I have ever seen, but hey, it's the Gulf. And it does get pretty crowded. But all in all, a good beach.

This beach was beautiful; however what I did not like was the fact that tourists were fishing right from the beach. With little kids around, I was afraid they will get caught with the hook. And one day, someone reeled in a baby hammerhead shark. No why would anyone want to attract these sharks so close to the beach where... More

This is an absolutely beautiful beach! No life guards or facilities, but it was a close walk from our rental and we loved it! I is a beach that has a wall off to the south side, with actual rocks coming from it that you can snorkel around. When the tide is out you can find some pretty awesome seashells... More

Any beach at Siesta Key is possibly better than most any other beach in the world but this section is extra special. Normally this section is not as crowded as the public beach part. Usually this section of beach is very family oriented and in over twenty five years, I have never seen a problem. This section of beach is... More

Best beach I've ever been on! The water is clear and temperature is just right. The sand is fine and white (99% quartz)! There are no rip currents, and no steep drop-offs in the water. The south end of the beach has coral and rock outcroppings that are good for snorkeling. My family has been vacationing at Siesta Key on... More
