We came to Siesta Key seven years ago, and it was a completely different experience. Today the beaches are so crowded with rude visitors that you cannot enjoy the beauty of the island. My daughter and I went to sunset, and several groups of tourists stood right in front of us, blocking our view. They were completely oblivious to our... More

We visited Siesta, Turtle and Crescent and Crescent was by far the best shelling beach we found. Very fun!

If you could raze the massive house that mars one part of this spectacular place you'd have one of the lovliest places in the US

I have been to Siesta Key beach before but farther up near the village. This time we opted for a different location and were not disappointed. Just for reference, bring your chairs from the resort you stay at, if offered, because the Beach has chair rentals but not worth the extra charge.

Beautiful white powder sand. One mile and a quarter walk each way. I would recommend this beach for families

Of all the FL beaches this is the best. Fluffy, white sand. Clear waters. Breath taking sunsets. Stayed at Horizons West. Wonderful.

This beach is very pretty, however a few more shells than Siesta Key. I am shell collector so it works for me. For pure lounging it is excellent, Siesta Key is definitely busier and has more beach amenities nearby!

We enjoyed the sugar sand. Walking, running and biking on this beach. You can enjoy a 2 mile trek north to Siesta Village, a beautiful stretch!

This is a great walking beach. The super fine sand creates a nice surface for a good, long beach walk.
