The sand is so white and cool to the feet. Water was a little warmer than I would have liked, I guess it was the time of year. Nice place to relax with a picnic lunch.

The best beach ever! This beach is made of crushed quartz and is so soft for your feet (like baby powder) and so cool! No burning of the feet here! We loved this beach! My #1 beach ever! If I could run back today, I'd be there, but we live in CT.!

I traveled to SK Thurs, July 17-Sunday July 20, 2014. (( This review is the for the beach on Stickney / Midnight Pass )) This beach was absolutely gorgeous!! The sand is different from Destin/PCB area—as in SK it’s white sand, just not as white b/c of the pieces of the seashells. There are also areas where the broken seashells... More

White sand and blue water. A little crowded last week but everyone was friendly. Found lots of shells.

We have searched the world over for the best beach and found it in Crescent Beach on Siesta Key. We spend a lot of time at beaches and can honestly say that this beach is the best all round beach that we have ever seen. The sand is made of quartz making it very unique. It is pure white .I... More

We stayed at the nearby Tropical Beach Resorts and had an incredible vacation stay utilizing the Crescent Beach every day. The sand is so soft and never hot - you can walk bare foot on it at any time of day and for hours. There are many families and a mix of adults but everyone was very polite and respectful... More

Crescent Beach is a fabulous beach - the sand is NEVER hot!! And rubbed between the fingers, the sand feels like talcum powder. (One has to go out very early to find decent shells, which vary from day to day.) The beach is nicely kept and a pleasure to walk or build a sand castle. Have never been on a... More
