The white sand here is amazing. When I take people here who have never been her before, I usually get, "yeah - white sand, I know." But then they experience the talcum powder, never hour, quartz white sand and are blown away! This is a beautiful beach, near a beautiful village. It is one of Dr. Beach's Number One beach.

The beach was not as clean, nor as nice as our first visit a few years ago. They really do need to have a beach cleaner run the beach at least once a week.

This is a piece of heaven on earth from quartz sand that never gets too hot or sticky to the relaxed ocean scene and stunning sunsets strolls.

I've been to Longboat Key quite often, but never Siesta Key. Incredibly fine sand, never gets hot under your feet. The beach is flat, so is great for walking. Water color is greenish ... clear ... beautiful beach!

This is a private less crowded beach with beautiful crystal clear aquamarine water and powdery soft white sand.

Awesome white powder sand, crystal clear water, worth the trip. The beach is shallow for a long way out from beach, it reminds me of some great caribbean beaches! At low tide (later afternoon) a sandbar appears about 50 ft from shore and leaves a huge natural 1ft deep kiddy pool in between that you and the kids can play... More

I loved this beach! We parked at Public Access #12 which was tight parking and no facilities such as a place to rinse off but I'd still go back in a heartbeat. The beach was so calm and serene and the people watching superb. We attempted to snorkel at Point of Rocks but that didn't go well since it was... More

This beach is fantastic for kiddies as the sand, which is a fine white powder, never gets hot on the feet as it quartz. The beach is deep and the water and waves are fantastic. What makes this beach one of the best is that it is kept clean and raked every morning and it is patrolled constantly by police. It... More
