Expansive and friendly to bikers and walkers and has a nice dog park , reservations for a complete pavillion with children parties and nice restrooms, can't complain a bit.

Nice park for walking, bicycle riding, picnics and bird watching. Kayak and canoes can be put in here as well for a really nice paddle.

It's worth the climb to the top to see up and down the intercostal waterway and the barrier islands. You can see North towards Clearwater and South to St Pete Beach. The board walks offer a look at mangroves and coastal backwater critters. There are also walking paths through the park and a playground.

It is such a nice park! Has an overlook and tons of space for kids to run around and explore. I go there almost every year, love the atmosphere and the wooden trail along the water.

This little park has a little of everything; biking and walking trails, a dog park, and a beautiful observation tower that looks over the mangroves. Never crowded and a break from the daily hustle and bustle.

My husband and I regularly visit this park. We are usually there to walk the main boardwalk trail. There are a couple of other trails which we enjoy. One heads back into the woods and we hardly ever see anyone on that trail. We occasionally have lunch in one of the secluded picnic pavilions This park is a peaceful place... More

This park is actually just beyond my backyard. I go there every day. It has TONS of wildlife---gopher tortises, ospreys, racoons, egrets, herons, armadillos, AND alligators! There is a two-mile boardwalk; which takes you through woodlands, mangroves AND a long walk along the intercoastal waterway. There is a fabulous dog park. It has water stations, playgrounds and separate yards for... More

Great place to walk with kids or by yourself because it is very safe. The observation tower is a nice feature. They have a playground for kids and they really enjoy it. This park is never crowded, parking is easy and very nicely maintained. A plus is the ability to use the canoe/kayak launch… but not on low tide.
