There's an alligator there this year, and a variety of wading birds. Few visitors. A great walking or biking area

Boca Ciega Millenium Park is a little treasure in Seminole. It has wonderful wooden trails that run along Boca Ciega Bay and features a tower that spry people can clamber up to view the bay for miles. It is a great place for bird watching and is on the back side of the bird sanctuary islands in the bay. There... More

There are at least 2 hiking/walking trails, one through the wooded area and one a boardwalk by the water. there is a high tower overlooking Boca Ciega Bay. Bird watching is terrific, for shore birds , saw a bald eagle, and also for song birds especially at migration times as the birds stop to rest and refuel after crossing the... More

My husband and I were staying in a condo on Gulf Blvd. in Indian Shores. We like to walk for exercise in the mornings but walking on Gulf Blvd. was peaceful enough for us. We found Boca Ciega Park in some tourist information. We only walked there once and really enjoyed it. Very peaceful. We ended up walking most of... More

The park is gorgeous and well maintained. If you have a dog that's the place to go. Unfortunate that sometimes weird people and too passionate volunteers ruin the experience. Park management should be reminded that the place does not belong to them and that volunteers can do wrong and are not law officers.

Nice place to stroll around with an extensive boardwalk leading you through the forest and along the coast. The tower is a great place to watch herons, osprey etc from. Plenty of toilets and water fountains in the parking areas so family friendly.

Great park to visit for walks or relax and watch the wildlife from the watch tower. There is a canoe and kayak launch area. The doggie park is a great place to let your dog roam.
