There was probably a lot of great racing, but I couldn't see it. If you didn't own a motor home that you could park right next to the fence and stand on top of it, you had to fight for a spot on a raised grassy area to see one corner of the race. If you go I suggest bringing... More

This race is for the hard core sports car racing fan but... other than the 24 hours of Le Mans, I don't think any other race comes close. Daytona is on a purpose built track for NASCAR repurposed for road racing as are many of the others. I'm a fan of Watkins Glen Race Course but again it is purpose... More

12 hours of Sebring is a bucket list event. Go. Whether you are a race fan or no this is an experience. Visit "The Zoo" the in-field campground where fans have been going for as many as 40 years or more. The whole event is 95% male bonding through racing and camping. 5% people watching - no kids or pets... More

A tip of the hat to Dr. Panoz when he ran the track, the porta potties were cleaned on a regular basis, what happened nascar? The last time the porta potties near gate 4 were cleaned was on Thursday, by the start of the race on Saturday you didn't want to be any where near them. The only ones that... More

Odor of hot oil, screech of brakes, squeal of tires, roar of engines. Just what you'd expect from a major auto race event. Arrive early (as in very early) for parking (if they controlled parking they could get in a lot more vehicles in the General park area...but they don't). Bring chairs, water, hats, sunscreen, and even sunbrellas. All in... More

Bring some earplugs for the race. I went as a crew member for a cyclist doing the 24 hours of Sebring. The race was a blast and the racetrack where the cyclists went through the night had great facilities for the crews. It was bitter cold but we were provided electricity and got to put up tents to keep warm.... More

First timers need help, where to go, stay, actually see the race, more access to water and developed schedules to not miss race festivities. We finally started to figure some things out and with a BIG thanks to corvette racing we had an amazing podium access experience.

The facilities are wonderful. The event staff at the 12 Hours at Sebring were polite and helpful. The food was good. There was a wide variety of food types and beverages. Looking forward to returning next year.

Plan on waiting in line for any shower needs. It seems that 150,000 people paying $100+ a head, $5 beers, Over-priced food and clothing isn't enough to supply the track with any Showers that are: a) manned by staff that simple are worthless b) dirty to the point the showers will not drain for all the used soap paper, empty... Met friends in Sebring for the day and stopped by the International Raceway to see if anything was going on. A gal in the office told us that there were racing teams there and that they might be on the track practicing for an upcoming race. We drove out to the track and within a half hour one of the...
