It was an interesting event to hear and see but beware of traffic and lack of enough parking. Although it is off season now, we spent over 20 minutes looking for a parking spot and we couldn't find one. Our friend dropped us of and continued circling with the car while we went to see the drum circle - we... More

Very fun time on the beach. The drum circle is a fun activity for the whole family. The music they play is great and people circle around and dance.

Super cool to see if you are at Siesta Key on a Sunday evening. The locals gather and have an organized drum beat together. Everyone forms a circle and if you want to participate inside the circle then you are welcome to as long as you are dancing/moving. They do not want people just gazing/ taking pics inside the circle.... More

There were about 30 people playing and a crowd of several hundred on the beach listening as the sun set over the gulf. Pretty cool.

We came early to get seats and let the kids get another dip in the ocean. We got a good place around the circle, and enjoyed listening to the warm up and watching the dancers and hoopers. However, lots of tourists then got into the circle, standing and completely obstructed he view. Wished we could have seen more. We ended... More

If you are looking for something amazing to do at sunset on Sundays get yourself to Siesta Key's Public beach well before sunset.; Take your blanket or chairs and sit back and relax and enjoy a slice of "Woodstock" style entertainment. We love going. You never know what will be beyond the dunes - 100 people or 1000 people gathering... More

The Drum circle is annoying. They should not have it every Sunday, maybe one day a month so that it does not aggravate the condo and home owners with the monotonous noise that carries for a long distance. It causes traffic congestion and limits parking for the people that come to the beach for the sunset and other activities. It... More

After a bright day in the sun, we were hoping for a quiet colorful sunset on the beach. When we arrived at the Siesta Key beach, it was alive with action and sound as the Drum Circle was in full swing. It was a free form event that takes place on Sunday and includes anyone who wants to beat a... More
