Nice way to spend the afternoon

Bring a jetski or boat and grill out and chill out. Not much for swimming but a lot of shade. Nice way to spend the afternoon.

Great location and easy access to the beach for a view of the gulf or the pass but there are a lot of potholes that make it ruff on driving in or out.

Very nice Sarasota County park (no admission fee) with parking just a short distance from the beach. There is a nice playground on site.

Enjoy a peaceful morning at Ted Sperling Nature Park, where you can rent kayaks or SUPs by reservation. Birds and jumping fish- maybe even a dolphin.

My family and I came here one weekend and the BBQ area and the shade trees were nice to get out of the sun. It was pretty crowded but noone was to loud or anything our family had a great time. There are plenty of boats/ jet skis to watch if your not much into getting in the water. Overall... More

Situated at the Southern end of Lido Key, this is our favourite beach in the area. It is surrounded on three sides by sea, plenty of shade in the woods. There are trails through the woods to follow and plenty of birds and animals to spot. There are plenty of picnic areas and BBQ's. Parking is free and the restrooms... More

You have lots of parking , trees, water, and picnic areas. You have nice bathroom facility and the place is clean. We strolled along the Lido beach then around the sandbar finding great shells but it fascinated me to se the ocean meet the bay the most. So cool.

You probably won't find a bad review about South Lido Park and if you do there is no pleasing some people anyway. I live on Siesta but come here often. Sometimes by car but usually by boat so I can avoid the traffic. This is a great walking beach, big Australian Pines for shade and to picnic under. The newly... More
