Just a few reasons to come kayaking (tour or rental) with Sea Life Kayak. Explore exotic mangrove tunnels, paddle among manatees, dolphins and much more...With the premier kayak company in Lido, Siesta, and AMI. The owners of Sea Life Kayak Adventures come from science and conservation backgrounds and are members/volunteers of several environmental and wildlife organizations. While other companies are herding dozens of paddlers onto the water, we limit our groups to enhance the experience of our paddlers and especially the wildlife, minimizing our impact on fragile ecosystems. We use top quality, comfortable and easy to use kayaks perfect for novices or pros (most paddlers are newbies which we love), and provide instruction before we launch. Manatees, dolphins, flying rays, flying fish, cormorants (swimming with us or even riding on our boats!), And much, much more can be seen up close. We believe in tailoring our tours to our clients and having fun! Kayaking is not just our business, it's our passion. Thanks-Tom and Lauri « less

Despite rather strong winds, we had a very enjoyable kayak adventure. Chris, our guide was very good as he kept his eye out for interesting wildlife and answered every possible question. The mangrove tunnels were particularly fun.

We booked the guided tour of Sarasota Bay for a not-so-in-shape mom and 2 teenage boys. Chris was our guide, and kept the whole group moving at a satisfying pace, while letting the boyx burn off some steam. The mangrove tunnels were simply magical, and for the price, it was a good satisfying 2 1/2 hours. We plan on going... More

On a Sunday morning my grandson and I went Kayaking, what a great morning we had. Really easy for those who have not kayak before. The company was great to work with as I only called the day before to make reservations, due to weather concerns. We will be making reservations again, when we come back.I also will be taking... We have been out with SEA LIFE KAYAKS five or six times around South Lido Beach. The area is just rich with things to see; dolphins, starfish, birds, manatee, mangrove tunnels, more. You can also oggle some big homes as you paddle by or picnic on the beach. Tom and his crew set you up so all you do is... More

Even during a misty day, Tom gave us a great adventure. Love his knowledge of the area and his conservation efforts. And his philosophy of only taking smaller groups. Because of this, you get a personal tour and its easier on the environment. We saw another tour who had 28 people to one guide. People we all over the place... More

What an enjoyable time! We were visiting friends in the area, and this was recommended as one of the things we should do, and I must say I am very glad that we did. 'Up close and personal' would be a great way to describe the trip. We tried to find the manatees, but they did want to cooperate with... More

We had friends visiting from New Jersey this week and decided to take a kayak tour from Lido. None of us had much experience kayaking but our guide Chris gave us some simple tips and led us on a great tour of the area. He did an awesome job giving us local information about the area and wildlife we saw... More

The tour included 5 of us. My daughter and I in one kayak and my son in his own. The day was beautiful and the equipment was in good condition. They took the proper precautions to let us know to put our valuables in a wet box. Our guide, Chris - the talent - was funny/entertaining and knowledgable about the... More
