We reserved the kayak online, which was very easy. Then something came up and we had to call to make a change to the reservation time. Phone was answered on the first ring and the change was handled effortlessly. We arrived, and our kayak was waiting for us as promised. It was in excellent condition. We didn't do the tour.... More

Wonderful trip this afternoon. I had family visiting from Ireland and decided kayaking was a fun adventure for both child & adult. Our guide Tara did not disappoint. Very knowledgeable & friendly. I would not only recommend this to others but I will go again and experience the natural beauty of Sarasota. Two thumbs up!!! FYI~ load up on the... More

The people at I Kayak Sarasota were very curteous and helpful. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. She was even able to show us two wonderful manatees on our trip. She was ever aware of the entire group and made sure we were all having a good time and were comfortable. Will be back when more family comes to visit.

This relaxed kayaking tour allows you to explore Lido Key under the expert guidance of Tara, who gave us loads of great facts along the way. On the open water we spotted manatees and were accompanied by a merry band of cormorants. The mangrove tunnels are quite magical and there's plenty to see here too: starfish, oysters, crabs and birds.... More

Our first time kayaking at Lido. Well worth it! Tara is a great guide and very knowledgable - she makes the trip fun and educational. We saw lots of local wildlife including sea cucumber and manatee. The mangrove tunnels were an exceptional treat.

Neither my wife nor I had ever been in a kayak before but we rented the premium tandem (better seats) and with some excellent instruction from our guide Tara, we were soon negotiating the mangrove tunnels pretty well. On our 2 hour tour we saw manatees, egrets, cormorants, ospreys, and an upside down jellyfish. Tara was very knowledgeable and a... More

Kayaking the mangrove tunnels and searching for dolphins, manatee, and birds on the water by kayak is a great way to explore Sarasota and get some exercise! iKayak makes it easy. You book online and show up. They do the heavy lifting down to the water.

We were extremely pleased with our guide, Tara, who was laid back and very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. She seemed to individualize the tour by finding out our interests and then making sure she focused on them. Since my interest is in birds, she pointed out all the birds that came our way and knew... We did a kayak tour yesterday with Jane as our tour guide. We had 3 in my group and that's all that ended up in the tour. We were all first-timers. Had a great time! Jane showed us a lot of different creatures that she spotted under the water. It was fun to go through the mangroves! We all are... More

We can confidently recommend this experience, as long as you are not expecting some sort of solitary wilderness adventure. When we launched, they had to split the I Kayak Sarasota clients into two groups of sixteen boats apiece. Two other companies launched just as many boats before we pushed out. All of this was handled quite well; just realize that... More
