We had a wonderful time on the cruise, saw a young dolphin close to the boat, took a nature walk, and learned about lots of types of marine life and birds. Our kids ages ten, eight and five, were all very interested and engaged. We definitely recommend.

We did the cruise with two little girls. Our draw was the net in the bay for wildlife collection. There was a marine biologist on the boat that told a lot of history of the area as well as pointing out birds and dolphins. We saw several dolphins on the ride. We went to an uninhabited island and learned about... More

On a gorgeous day we experienced a smooth and extensive tour of Sarasota Bay including a good look at the homes on Bird Key. How lucky we were to see many dolphins frolicking and even submarining. Jimmy was our biologist guide, delivering timely information, pointing out various nature sightings. Venturing close to small islands allowed us clear views of the... More

We had a lovely day on the water. Smooth ride. We saw lots of dolphins, kayakers, the rookery with Blue Heron hatchings. The Marine Biologist and the Volunteer were very informative. It was my second time on this tour. I certainly recommend this to all ages seniors, families, singles and couples.

Jennifer is the best guide that I have ever experienced. Some tour guides are boring, hard to understand, or treat you as stupid sheep. Jennifer was a fountain of knowledge, spoke clearly, and was passionate about her work. We saw dolphins, several nesting islands for birds, and a huge net full of critters from the water. It was hands on... More

Went on the boat ride just expecting a nice way to see the area from the water. We had just pulled away from the dock when a group of dolphins started putting on a lively show for us. The rookery we passed was loaded with all kinds of birds & we also caught a glimpse of some hatchlings! When our... More

We took a Sarasota Bay tour this year for the first time. It waa definitely worth the money to be out on a pontoon boat for a couple of hours. Our naturalist was great. I loved the rookery; my kids loved stopping on Robert Island. It was cool to drag the bay floor to see what was hiding there -... More

I really enjoyed this ecology based tour of Sarasota bay. Any boat tour of that area is going to be beautiful, but this one was informative and educational. My favorite part was catching bay creatures and getting to play with them. We did a boat tour + aquarium admission, but I preferred the tour much more.

We were lucky enough to have Jennifer, a marine biologist on board with us for our adventure on the water last week. She was informative and made learning fun for all the passengers on board. She cast a net into the sea and brought up creatures from the bottom to examine and enjoy before returning them to the ocean.

Worth every penny. This is the best guided tour EVER! They share all the history about Sarasota Bay and also during your tour the release a neat and catch sea life and you get to pet and touch some. If you are lucky you may able to see Dolphins and manatees! Take your time and get on the boat!
