Beautiful ride! Flat as can be and very easy. Enjoyed it everyday we stayed in this area. Easy to get to. We biked over to it as town as nice bike lanes.

This is a great place to ride a bike, skate, walk, jog on smooth surface with no motorized vehicles. Several places to access. Places to park. Pine trees, wooded, rest stops, clean port-potties, friendly courteous users. A round trip takes you twenty miles, Also connects to scenic waterway trail and restores old train station. A safe , smooth free place... More

The level paved trail is really designed for riding a bicycle. Be sure to ride south past the old Venice train station along the water canal. You can ride all the way to the ocean. Cross over the bridge to the other side of the canal for the trip north.

WOW! we rode bikes there and its so gorgeous and tree lined, shady and a huge state park on route. Make sure you get there and see this. Rent a bike because your tookus will get sore. Make sure you see the bay view too on your ride.

A flat, scenic trail that runs between Sarasota to Venice Florida. Plenty of attractive possible stops along the trail. Check out the train station in Venice.

You will many hidden treasures along this trail. Beauty, wildlife, and peace and tranquility. I once had a bobcat come right out of the vegetation and cross in front of me, then slowly trot up the trail ahead of me for several feet before darting back across the trail and into the vegetation. it is easy to forget that we... Love the idea of a trail to walk or bike. Very flat and easy to navigate. Easy parking at different points along the trail. Not the most interesting views or scenery. Several in our party found it a bit boring. Great ride from Venice to Sarasota. Very safe!

It is so nice to travel through nature with no cars and see all the critters out there in their natural habitat!
