Awesome place, my only advice is to drop off inexperienced women kayakers at St. Armand's Circle so you can fully enjoy the experience. My buddy and I brought our girlfriends, who had never kayaked before, and we ended up spending the majority of the time in the groves steering their yaks as well as ours...only made it thru half of... This was a fantastic tour! It was fun to watch the comorrants hang with us and dive for fish under our kayaks. We were blessed to see a couple of manatees gliding underneath us as well. Floating through the mangrove tunnels is a peaceful experience. Kudos to our guide, Derrick! He did an awesome job. I will do this tour... More

Our group of five had a lot of laughs while getting a good lesson about the area. Our guide, Will, was friendly, knowledgeable, and humorous. We glimpsed a manatee, and some dolphins. Paddling through the mangroves was amazing. Thank You!

My fiance and I had a great afternoon of kayaking led by Derrick (who happened to also go to UMD -- GO BULLDOGS ;))! He had so much information to share, was very relaxed, and a wonderful guide. It was obvious that our enjoyment was extremely important to him, and when we spotted both dolphins and manatees from a distance,... More

This kayak tour was very well done. The tour guide, Derek, was excellent! He was very knowledgable about the area, the wildlife, and the history of the land. He was also very funny and made for an entertaining tour. Going through the tunnels of mongo trees was definitely the highlight and a must see!! Can't wait to do it again!

Thanks for the tour of the mangroves & bay!! The kayaking wasn't as difficult as I expected it to be. The info shared with Derek was great! We really had fun & are likely to kayak again!!

Very relaxing and beautiful setting. We did not get to see any manatees or dolphins. There also was not an opportunity to do any shelling. I may have misunderstood the agenda

We had Will as our primary guide and Derick that followed up the group. Things had been busy at this location but they did a great job at rounding up the group ahead of schedule. I was amazed this park existed were it did - following the directions on the web site we found the parking lot just as described.... More

We had such a wonderful afternoon on the water. The mangroves were a site to see and the best part of the tour. We got to go through 3 different mangrove tunnels and through some open waters in search of manatee and dolphins. Our tour guides, Will and Derek, made the experience even better than we were expecting. Tons of... More

Whenever you engage in an experience that involves Mother Nature, you have to be a bit flexible regarding expectations and enjoy what there is to be enjoyed. We took the 2 1/2 hour lido tour with Todd and Derrick and 13 guests. The guides were both friendly, professional and knowledgable. They didn't seem rushed, just happy for us to enjoy... More
