My husband and I go here every year! We don't have children and have a blast! Every year they are adding more. Loved feeding the goats, turtles, fish, and flamingos. The reptile show was very informative. We will be back many more times :)

I had seen advertisements for Jungle Gardens for years and decided to finally visit. Parking was free. The zoo is not very large and looks like it hasn't changed much in the last 60 years. The fact that they've stayed in business that long with an old fashioned simpler zoo than others in Florida is admirable. The bird show was... More

With our two grandsons in tow, we toured the gardens and enjoyed the local flora and fauna. The lecture on some of the indigenous wild life was excellent, and the lake where you can feed the flamingos, huge fish, turtles and other water birds is loaded with photo opportunities and not to be missed. The kids loved it. One of... More

It is a cute Floridian attraction, though it is not amazing it is still very pleasant with children. Well kept.

We have been visiting Siesta Key for the last three years and we always need a day away from the beach. This year decided to visit the Sarasota Jungle Gardens. To be honest when my wife suggested that we go, I was a little skeptical. A road side zoo was the first thing that came to mind. Well, I was... More

This place has nice animals to see and the setting is well laid. Don't miss the bird shoe. The reptile show was very educational as well.

we found the park very entertaining, getting up close with pink flamingos, the wild and well kept grounds, birds of all kinds everywhere, a pleasent place to spend a few hours. while staying at the lovely Casa Del Mar resort, the grounds there and our visit to sarasota jungle park , truly complmented our time in the area.

If you have small children they will find some entertainment, but for the money this was a bit of a let down. Feeding the flamingos was a highlight and the shows are cute. Overall a lot of walking with not much to see or do.

We brought the kids to the SJG today. What a great place! We all learned something new about the animals there. Be sure to go to the shows. The kids got the hold an alligator and a parrot. They got to feed the flamingos who followed them around! The botanical gardens are beautiful as well. This was pleasant surprise after... More
