We went to the Kenny Rogers Christmas Concert ... first visit to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Even though Kenny Rogers voice isn't what it was many years ago we felt overall he had an entertaining show ... the first half sharing his favorite songs over his decades of work and the second half focused on Christmas. The talented... More

Went to see Kenny Rogers last night. He should retire. At $75 a ticket we expected a terrific show. What we got was an amateurish, boring mess. His voice is shot (he is 76) and he should retire. If we had been near an aisle we would have left. He used to be a great performer and singer but that... More

They have great concerts but no aisles to escape to a restroom without tripping over 25 people. Acoustics not bad but not great. They should have put more thought into design.

The staff are professional and courteous (maybe a little stuff but still ok). We recently saw Melissa Etheridge and a couple weeks ago the Shen Yun Orchestra. The sound is great. Not a bad seat in the house. Very comfortable seats. Cozy. They have limited food service (M&M's etc) and a decent bar selection. Parking is super convenient and FREE.

This hall is a fabulous venue, with easy access/parking, great concert acoustics and nice ambiance, but the absence of a center aisle renders the hall less desirable. After reading about the hall's design, it is apparent that, in this smaller auditorium, the length of a row of seats from the center to the side exits is no more than the... More

We attended a concert, one of many I have attended at the Van Wezel. What I like most is any seat is a good seat, this is theatre in the crescent. Meaning the hall is a crescent shape of seating which allows for a good view no matter where you sit. They attract top acts and offer plentiful parking and... More

Beautiful venue, right on the inter coastal. This is a fairly small, but classy purple (yep, purple) performing arts center. (It was designed by someone famous, I think a follower of Frank Lloyd Wright or something.). If if you end up in the last row, you will probably still have better seats than at a larger venue. We have gone... More
