A bit of a dive but fun atmosphere and a beach tradition. Really great food, generous portions. MUST go early because the wait can be crazy later. Recommend the crab cakes!

You have got to visit the Red Bar. We have been multiple times even on the same trip. Live music and the best crab cakes in town. You can only get the crab cakes Friday-Sunday. Everything made fresh. The blackened grouper is amazing. You will not be disappointed.

When asked about a restaurant, Yogi Berra purportedly said, "It is too crowded. No one goes there anymore." What Yogi meant was the restaurant wasn't worth the hassle. That is the way with the Red Bar. The food is good. However, they don't take reservations. If you don't want to wait, get there early. Finally, the parking is awful. You... More

A fun “Old’ Florida Bar” located on highway 30A. Although the bar is old you will enjoy all the posters that decorate the interior, especially the ones from France. Don’t ask me who chooses them but they are fun to look at while you’re waiting for your cold beer and good lunch/dinner. Try some of the local favorites that include... More

Very hippie like place but very cute. The food was great. The fish tasted really good. Get directions before you go its hidden back in a corner easily to be missed. Right by water as well. Great place for lunch or casual drinks.

Food fair but prices high. Parking difficult. This spot is for the under thirty crowd. They do not except credit cards which I find unusual. Music can be ear bending at times. Whatever they do draw big crowds of folks who want to meet and greet and make connections. Try it. There is a place across the street called Shorty's... More

We always enjoy a stop at the Red Bar when we vacation on 30-A. We ordered fish & chips & a delicious slice of keylime pie!

This was my 3-4 visit to the restaurant , but my husband's first. Since it seems like the menu is consistent, he knew what to expect....he wasn't disappointed. We went for lunch & got a table immediately. The lighting is dim, so it helps that the menu is read to you. Very quick turnaround after ordering. Don't expect a romantic... More

Crowded and loud but this restaurant is fun and a must to experience. They only offer a few entrees, but the crab cakes were probably best I've ever had. I would definitely return to try other entrees.

Great atmosphere in a funky little joint. The smoked tuna dip was so good that I was worried the main dish would disappoint. Not so! Cool place with great food.
