We stopped here for lunch on a rainy Saturday. Fun atmosphere and only had to wait about 15 minutes during lunchtime. We were able to visit the nearby shops while waiting. Food and drinks were good! The restaurant is cash only but they have ATMs on site.

Set off HWY 98 East & south on CR283, this place is something to see. Actually, it's a beach shack with funky decor & a sandy parking lot that makes you feel like you're in a part of "old forgotten Florida", when actually, it's just 20 minutes from Sandestin area. They told us it would be 45 minutes for a... More

We had heard of this place because of its famed atmosphere and we were not disappointed. The food was nothing to complain about, but the overall hodgepodge design of the Red Bar is very cool. The ceiling is filled with random posters and articles, chandeliers, and disco balls. The room is flooded with red lighting. The random art around the... More

I felt immediately at home here, a place that would fit in very well at any big college town or 'hip and happening' areas of some of our best cities. The decor is throwback, surfer, rock-n-roll, Euro-traveler chic ... and sporty. If you cannot have fun in a place like this, you just don't know how to have fun. The... More

We were a bit late for dinner, arriving at 8:30 for dinner. Red Bar was crazy busy with loud DJ music (live music is earlier). We ate in the bar area at a table. Took a little while to get greeted but the waiter was very busy and had acknowledged us. Menu consists of about 6-7 entrees only. We all... More

When there is only 5-6 things on a menu and the place is packed, you know the food is good! Our party ordered a variety of the items and they were all amazing. If you go on the weekend, get the crab cakes! As mentioned before, be prepared for a wait and bring cash.

Had dinner with friends on Sunday evening, July 6th, 2014. Long wait, bar was packed, loud band in one of the dining rooms. very crowded and busy. Got seated in outdoor dining area but right under an a/c unit blowing hot air on us (avoid this table in the corner). The service was pretty good and the food was very... More

I have been going to Red Bar since 1996. The food is excellent as is the people-watching! This last trip we went for a late lunch over 4th of July week and did not have to wait. Not an extensive lunch menu, but everything looked delish...hard to make a choice. Can't wait for next year to go back...maybe lunch and... More

We have been going to Red Bar for 15 plus years. Not one time have we been disappointed. They have a limited menu but each entree is perfect. They will also have two specials which are great! You may have to wait, but it is worth the wait.
