This is a wonderful State Park to spend the day or longer. On our girls beach week we stayed on 30A and spend a day at the beach. We had our lunch so we enjoyed the picnic area. We love the fine white sand and the calm clear waters. I am sure we will visit again!!!! Also the bathroom were... More

All the state parks located on scenic 30a are well worth going to see. Usually a quiet change from the main beach areas. More

My hubby and I came down to PCB for a few days and spent a day at this beach. I have been to Cozumel,Mx. and I thought that was the best beach. Now I know different. Why go to Mx. when you have the best beach right here in the states. the water was clear. It was like swimming in... More

We will definitely be going back. The campground is very nice, everyone is so friendly. The beach is a short distance away and wonderfully clear. Sugary sands. I had the best time. Take your bike- there's not many parking places, and there's a 10 mile bike route that goes pretty much anywhere you want to go. This is the first... More

We've camped there quite a bit, and really enjoy it. The rangers are nice and helpful, and the bath house is really nice and clean. The campsites are good, most of them have a little walking path to the bathrooms (if you get a site inside the loop). The campgrounds are a good piece from the beach, not a pleasant... More

The dunes, beach and birds in this park are so beautiful. Thank goodness there is a little piece of Florida remaining in its natural state. Lovely More

We only went for a day trip since parking was full at nearby Grayton beach......we were so pleased to find the short hiking trail easily at the back of that parking lot. We really enjoyed our short hike. So much different than Tennessee terrain. We didn't get to do the 4 1/2 mile trail but plan to do it on... More

The beaches in the whole Destin/Fort Walton beach area are these gorgeous white powder sand dunes. You can literally walk for miles and miles along them. The bonus of the state park was that despite it being spring break time, the beaches were not crowded or noisy. It was easy to fish, walk (there are hiking paths as well) or... More

The cabins are separate from the main park. There is a private gate to cabin area so don't have to worry about kids riding bikes. Beach is nice and water in the panhandle is exceptional. Cabins are adequate. Sklmpy (1 small, thin towel per guest per stay) with towels but you can call every day for an exchange. More

This is an easy day-trip from our second home - a farm in Lower Alabama (LA) which allows us to go frequently. Plan to take a lunch, beach chairs, suntan lotion, umbrella, and towels and enjoy a wonderful day walking on the beaches, swimming, tanning. For only $5. you can park your car all day in this clean/beautifully appointed state... More
