Santa rosa is the best place for a family to visit. The beaches are great and their are so many places to eat! It's the perfect size, not to big and not to small! I would recommend it to families with young and older children!!

Great wide beach..not crowded, water quality is outstanding..public areas have lots of parking. Some within walking distance of shops/restaurants..much quieter and laid back than Seaside or Watercolor...

We went to the public beach, because we got rained out of PCB. I liked that they had lifeguards and he was very nice! The beach is pretty nice, but there was a lot of seaweed washed on the beach and an area where they had been doing home construction that made that part of the beach like a cesspool... More

Love that you can ride your bike down 30A and are so close to Gulf Place and Blue Mtn Creamery, etc.

This area is our favorite. We drove to other areas and they were so crowded it was crazy. We will stay here always. Plenty of restaurants and places to see also.

We liked this beach because it was never crowded regardless of the time of day. The beach is family oriented - very clean, it has bathrooms, and a picnic area. I cannot find a single thing I disliked about this beach...except that it's not closer to home.

Santa Rosa Beach was the perfect vacation spot. Destin is beautiful, but very commercial and Panama City is just too urban for my liking. However, sandwiched in between the two along Highway 30A is Santa Rosa Beach. White sand beaches, not nearly as commercial, but all the things you need are just a short drive away. it was quiet and... More

The sand feels like powdered sugar under your feet and the water is the most amazing color of turquoise blue. The whole 30A experience is that of a small town on the beach. LOVE it.

We decided to take a break from the Hilton and check out one of the other area beaches. It was breathtaking. There were fewer people because it wasn't surrounded by hotels. It is the perfect place to sit under an umbrella and read a book. I can't wait to go back.
