It's a privilege if you can stay on 30a

Let me put it this way. If you want crowds, riff raft, then go yo Panama City or Destin for your vacation rush. Otherwise Santa Rosa Beasch is where it's at.

Stopped at Santa Rosa Beach while making my way to Grayson State Park as I was told that is a great location, but I found this stop to be far prettier and it didn't require paying the park admittance fee.

The perfect spring break family getaway if you want to avoid the spring break crowd! It's never crowded and the water is crystal clear with sugar white sand that will squeak when you walk on it.

Some of the best beaches in FL. Great area not as crowded as Destin. Not a very commercial area. White sand and crystal clear water.

The crystal clear blue and green water colors here rival the caribbean's; especially St. Thomas, St. John. The bonus here is the soft, glaring white sand; providing a perfect contrast of color. A good spot is the Beach access near Gulf Place at Ed Walline beach park. There are lifeguards on duty from March to October. Definitely recommend a visit... More

We have traveled extensively and this is one of our favorite beaches . Just classy white sand beaches . Good selection of local restaurants like Stinky's Fish Camp . What a name . Drive along 30A and marvel at the homes along the gulf . Laid back and quaint .

If what you want is a beach vacation in Florida without all the craziness and noise that comes with places like Miami and the more commercial spots, consider Santa Rosa Beach. We stayed in a condo that sleeps 12 in the Old Florida Village on 30A. This was a pet friendly village of vacation homes, beautifully laid out and very... More

This is a beautiful beach. It doesn't have near as many "tourism " things, so if you want some alone time or somewhere to take the kids, this is a good beach. A lot of public free access points. Dogs can be on the beach on leash after 3:00 PM.

The beach glistens like sugar. People are friendly. New construction in areas. The water a beautiful emerald green. It's hard to find beach parking but the walk is worth it. Palm tree lined roads.
