Great place for family vacation. We went to beach everyday - white sand and clear water. Beautiful! Great location - easy access to Seaside, Grayton, and Destin

What a beautiful beach! Less crowded, cleaner, more emerald color!, lifeguard on site, restrooms, easy and short access. Not sure if you can rent umbrellas and chairs because it looked to me they belonged to buildings nearby (brought my own). Short driving from Destin, easy to find. If you are looking for a less crowded atmosphere and for multiples umbrellas... More

Ive been to a lot of beaches over the years but i must say Santa Rosa / Destin area beaches blow them all away. Nothing on the east coast can even come close! The water is a clear as pool water and the sugar beaches and smooth ocean bottom are great for walking on. The waves are minimal so your... More

Our family recently stayed in the Grayton/Santa Rosa Beach area at a vacation home called Sea Haven. The house overlooked the beach, slept 8 and was well stocked with all kinds of amenities. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of good things to say about the local restaurants in the area, at least the ones we tried. They were pricey... More

The water was so warm and inviting! The sand is white and clean. Plenty of room on the beach, not crowded. The sunsets were so colorful, especially the deep red hues.

We actually stayed at a rental home in old Grayton Beach, which is nestled between Grayton Beach State Park. The address was actually Santa Rosa beach. We were a five minute walk from the beach. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. The emerald/blue water was crystal clear. The sand was white and we were blessed with perfect beach weather. The great... More

We rented a house in a very cute community and the house was perfect, pool included. There was a close entry to the beach and easily accessible. The sand was like powdered sugar!! But then you see the seaweed....not the best sight! But the water is perfect, shades of blue and aqua, and lots of little fish that the children can... More

Santa rosa is the best place for a family to visit. The beaches are great and their are so many places to eat! It's the perfect size, not to big and not to small! I would recommend it to families with young and older children!!

Great wide beach..not crowded, water quality is outstanding..public areas have lots of parking. Some within walking distance of shops/restaurants..much quieter and laid back than Seaside or Watercolor...

We went to the public beach, because we got rained out of PCB. I liked that they had lifeguards and he was very nice! The beach is pretty nice, but there was a lot of seaweed washed on the beach and an area where they had been doing home construction that made that part of the beach like a cesspool... More
