I read on TripAdvisor that it's a good idea to go early before they run out of seafood. So we went around 1:00 pm and there was a line of about 10 people. Glad we went early. We got 3 pounds of shrimp for our low-country boil. It was plenty for our adult family of 5 - had leftovers for... More

(Just for reference, I have sent back food twice in my life in restaurants, and I eat out 2-3 times per week.) I walked in, and there was a nice selection of shrimp and fish. It was very clean. I ordered 2 lbs of large shrimp to be seasoned and steamed. When I got home, they were completely over-cooked. I... More

We got 2 pounds of steamed shrimp and it was gone in no time. It was the best shrimp I have had!! They have an assortment of sizes so you pick out what you want, tell them to steam and season it and within minutes, you have your shrimp ready to eat. We also got some of their cocktail sauce... Goatfeathers II is the perfect place to pick up fresh caught seafood for grilling back at the house. They also offer the most delicious house steamed shrimp (which is wonderful with their mild seasoning). We typically order 2 pounds of streamed shrimp for our family (of 6) to take down for beach picnic! Easy, cheap-Ish, and definitely delicious!

We got the gulf shrimp but make sure you ask where the shrimp came from. They do not tell you but the peeled and deveined shrimp was from Thailand. The gulf shrimp is very good, but I would be upset, as some of the customers where, to find out that the shrimp they purchased was Thailand shrimp.

Their remoulade sauce is very good. The shrimp and crab legs were a must when wanting fresh seafood. Don't arrive near the closing time of 6 pm because the staff is less than friendly even though the store hours online say 7pm.

We always stop at Goatfeathers at least twice when we are visiting the area. They are knowledgeable about their product, and we appreciate that they filet for you. The fish is fresh and they have plenty to choose from. We like to get steamed shrimp sometimes too, which they will do for you if you ask. Two locations make it... More

Best stop for take home seafood. We got several pounds of steamed shrimp and it was delicious. They also have the basics if you are going to fry or have a crab boil. Crawfish looked tempting also. Guys working were quick and friendly.

We decided to forego our normal seafood and shrimp boil this time around and just opted for the fresh steamed at Goatfeathers. Wow. Not only is the seafood fresh and amazing, they steam it for free. Shrimp, crab legs, etc. Don't miss this place. It's a crucial stop for a beach trip here.
