Beautiful park, lovely beach, disgusting bathhouse, bring your bikes

I just got back from Topsail Hill State Park/Preserve and wouldn't you know I didn't take any pictures! Too busy having fun on the beach and riding all the trails. Bathhouse was... read more

I just got back from Topsail Hill State Park/Preserve and wouldn't you know I didn't take any pictures! Too busy having fun on the beach and riding all the trails. Bathhouse was gross and the shower stalls were tiny (rubbing your clean arms and clothes against the moldy tiled wall while trying to get dressed is revolting.) Oh, and the... More

We actually camped in the tent camping area. The bath house was modern and clean. The campsites had H2O, electricity, and a large built up tent site. My 20X10 tent fit easily. The beach was 1/2 mile away, but the park offers a tram service to and from the beach area. Loved this park!

We camped here recently, and it does have tons of campsites. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't great, as we had a huge noisy family next to us who stayed up til well after ten, with crying kids and parents shouting back and forth across the campground to their kids at the bathrooms. However, rude people are not the fault of the... More

If you just want a daytrip to the beach, you may prefer Henderson State Park, but if you want to stay in an RV or a cabin, Topsail Hill State Park is your better bet. We stayed in a cabin, which wasn't ritzy, but everything was serviceable. The mattresses were rather firm for my taste, but that was the only... More

Perfect for camping and outdoor activities. Stand up paddleboard, canoeing, fishing, biking, hiking, walking on the beach, or just sitting by your camp to relax. Cable television, clean facilities and friendly staff. Close to Seaside, shopping and restaurants.

So this state park gets rave reviews. But they are lacking in some areas. Our site had a huge tree trunk coming through it (number 11). The restrooms next to us were not clean. No evidence of them being touched more than once a day. The pool was clean and tidy. If it gets such good reviews then it should... More

This is our most favorite park in the Florida state park system. It is a days drive for us but worth it. We always meet friends there so it is worth the drive. There are lots of activites within this park. There is also a hospital less than a mile from the park. We had to make use of the... More

Using Google maps, we had great difficulty finding public access on Santa Rosa Beach via the address on trip advisor, but we stumbled upon this state park and were delighted with what we found at the beach. The park hosts offered tram service from the parking lot down to the white sand beach every hour. Because it was raining at... More

This is a great state park that has full hookups. I have never seen such narrow concrete drives but the angle made it easy to back our travel trailer. There is adequate vegetation between sites to make them semi private. We had to change sites b/c we needed to extend our stay and both were level. The only con was... More

Wife and I stayed here for the month of February. A wonderful experience! The park is located right on the Emerald Coast and is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at. Most of the campers were couples although, it is probably the time of year. The park has a nice layout and is quiet. The park rules won't... More
