5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2015 NEW

We stayed here for two weeks in our fifth wheel this February. We also had family fly in and stay in one of the two bedroom cabins This is the most expensive state park we have stayed in and it fills up fast so reservations are a must. The campground is readily accessible, but you may not want to arrive... More

My wife and I recently purchased a new travel trailer. We wanted to book a place for a weekend trip that was pretty close to home. We chose Topsail Beach. This place is truly a hidden jewel campsite with TONS of stuff to do. The campsites are very nice, level, private with full hookups. The Park Rangers are very nice... More

This is a heavy duty RV camping spot but they offer a section of tent only that is wooded & quiet. The preserve is lovely with lots of trails to bike & walk. Best of all, oceanfront splendor!

I agree with some other reviews. I'm mixed, this place has some awesome features and some really terrible ones. Awesome location, can't say enough about the location. Within a few minutes of grocery stores, restaurants, beaches, shoppes, convenience stores, etc... Nice little campground that's fairly quiet and fairly well kept. The paid staff members were great, the campground had different... More

My husband and I camped for four days in our fifth wheel & we'll definitely return for a longer stay. We walked the parks paved roads which lead to a boardwalk to the beach daily from our site amounting to about 2 miles round trip & found it to be relaxing & peaceful. There's a fitness course along the paved... More

This is a great upscale RV park. The sites are pretty private with beautiful trees, palms, and nice patios with patio lights. Some sites have rough uprooted concrete but sites are being refurbished as necessary. We also noticed that many trees have been removed as they have become overgrown. During February the pine pollen is pretty rough so we usually... More

I camp and hike in many of Americas wonderful state parks. This is a nice park, beautiful beach, nice trails, pool, outdoor concert arena. BUT....I personally think nearly 50 bucks a night in the camp ground is a bit rich, the beach is a 1 1/2 mile walk or a tram runs every two hours, the trails have real fancy... More

All sites had water, sewer, electric. A little pricey for a state park for very nice, well-kept. Beautiful beach - a bit of a walk but there is a tram service that runs if you don't want to or can't make the walk. Lots of trails and plenty of places to walk the dogs (they are not allowed on the... More

Sites had water, sewer and electric. Our concrete drive was busted up. (looked like it may be marked for replacement) You can hear the ocean from the campsites but you cant see it. The beach is a good 1/2 mile bike/walk. For those who are not up to it, a trolley runs ever 2 hours. I recommend bringing your bike... More

This state park is blessed with a well designed RV park and cottages for rent. The white sands beach is only 0.7 miles away--an easy walk, or can take trolley to and from every other hour. Bring your bikes or rent them here. The RV park is quiet with no highway noise. The beach is not crowded and very clean.... More
