This state park has miles of pristine beach on the gulf coast with emerald green waters. The campground is shaded and beautiful sites . The bathroom are well kept and cleaned only once daily. There is 0.7 mile hike to the beach but there is a tram or better yet bring your bicycles. There are wonderful hiking trails and good fishing.... More

Summer vacation trip with two grandkids, beach, pool, laundry, and activities makes for a terrific experience! The campsites are close, but not too close to lose all privacy, and well shaded by tall pines. The pads are concrete and fairly level, the patio has a grill and picnic table for more outdoor time. We set up camp across from the... More

I never give 5 stars. This Fl St campground is the best campground at which we've stayed. Beautiful sites, clean, attractive pool area, ac in bathhouses, and a great paved bike/walking trail to a gorgeous beach. A courtesy tram can take you there too. This is Ft wilderness only much, much, better. At $47 / nite it's a steal! No wonder they... More

Great private beach. Loved the natural setting. Saw deer grazing on the dunes! Loved that the beach was only accessible by tram, bike or walking. Had a nice family atmosphere. Staff was VERY nice. Only negative was the bungalow. When we arrived the bungalow we rented had mold from ceiling to floor in the bathroom. Pretty shocking. We were able... More

We rented a cabin and stayed 4 nights. The cabins were comfortable and clean. Plenty of room with two bathrooms. Sleeps 6 comfortably. The area was beautiful. The beach was amazing. A small drive from restaurants but walmart was just down the road and we cooked alot of our meals at the cabin. The only thing i would have different... More

Just another Florida State Park. We visit the park system every year. Florida has done a fabulous job of preserving Mother Nature and keeping Big Business at bay. The "Real Florida" is much more than a slogan, it's a promise. One that is well kept. The park is clean with plenty of natural beauty.

This is the most beautiful beach! The sand dunes are like hills and the view from the boardwalk to the ocean was stunning. The water was so clear that we were able to see a large turtle and dolphins swimming under the water. We also saw the many jelly fish that hung around our first day here. They were more... More
