This is one of the best small libraries in the country...it has been voted so for many years, the staff is pleasant and helpful and the venue itself is interesting with their many exhibits and full amenities.....their book, video and computer access is top notch.

You may not think of visiting a library while on vacation, but with the relaxing atmosphere and a large shell collection, I recommend a stop in. The chairs are comfortable, the AC is just right and you can relax with the latest issue of your favorite magazine.

This is a great library with wonderful services (e.g. internet access and printer) and it is private, meaning that the locals keep it up and it is better than a typical public library. It's also quite attractive and in a lovely setting. Highly recommended!

You can get a visitor library card for a fee, and take out books when you visit the island. They have a nice selection. There is also free internet use (30 minute blocks) if your rental does not offer wifi.

Great little library, friendly employees, lots of books to choose from! A nice air-conditioned place to hang out and read, great kid's area and kid's events as well.

Even overseas visitors could sit in the rocking chairs and read a book - try doing that in France! The facilities for children were better than I have seen in any other country

So nice that even visitors can get a library card. We were able to check out some books, movies and board games for a rainy afternoon and evening. A beautiful library too. The staff is first rate!

This is one of my favorite spots on this fantastic island. Surprisingly vast collection of books. All types of DVDs and CDs. Maps, magazines, papers this place has it all. Oh, did I mention the outside reading rooms? Special little spots for reading, relaxing or just spending time with Nature. This is the best!!! Make sure you visit the library... More
