This collection rival the local affiliate of Carnegie library at home. Very broad collection of leisure reads and a very extensive video collection. A highlight of your trip to Sanibel this year. Well worth the nominal fee for the card.

Great location, periodicals, cd, DVDs, Internet, lectures and the most helpful librarians. Good place to stop while biking the island.

for $10 visitors to the island can have a card and enjoy the benefits of a great library. We took out books and videos and were warmly welcomed there. They have a super shell exhibit on the bottom floor.

Sanibel Library is amazing! For a small island to have a full service library with educational programs, guest speakers and lots of dvds, computers for use and other community programs

loved the extensive literature options for the children! The children's corner is super fun! There are numerous educational toys. They had a crafting class while we were there. The staff were all so helpful and kind.

Helpful staff is an island library ahead of most libraries in terms of services and programming; Excellent ability to search online and helpful assistance, when needed. Great location, charming smaller meeting rooms with wonderful views and local emphasis but global resources

Reading locations on screened porches. More opportunities for learning and entertainment than I have ever seen in a library in much larger cities. You can even obtain free passes to museums but you may have to wait, so apply upon arriving to island.

I couldn't believe how nice this library was in SI. I had to use it to print boarding passes for a flight. Costs 10 cent a page. But had internet access, and was a huge clean, helpful library. I was impressed.
