A great place for the kids to run, climb and play in the shade. My 4 and 6 year old loved it and wanted to go every day.

We stopped in with our kids. It's worth the stop to let the kids burn some energy. Newer park with a lot to offer. Clean and well manicured. Bathrooms. Sand volleyball. Great playground area. We would recommend

We had to stop by at the playground every day with our 20 month old girl. She enjoyed playing very much. A big advantage for adults is the nearby Sanibel Bean Coffee place. Because of the shades you can even go there during daytime. The nearby restrooms are clean and make this place very convenient.

This was a stopping point during our bike ride with the kids. The younger child wanted to stop and play, so we did. Loved the neat playground equipment and covered areas!! Best for younger children.

Sanibel Community Park Playground Volleyball Shuffleboard: Park has it all including large field for fly fishing practice, pick up football or soccer games, and excellent restroom. Covered picnic tables. And HUGE shade coverings give your children a break from the warm Florida sunshine.

We stopped here after dinner on our first night at Sanbel. My daughter got 45 minutes worth of movement before we returned to the condo to unpack. It's fenced in, has restrooms & parking adjacent to playground. We returned another time while biking, and the shade atop the playground proved to be purposeful.

This is a very nice place to bring the kids to burn off some energy. We biked here and let the kids run around while we rested. Has nice shade, but I wouldn't come here in the heat of the afternoon.

We always come to town in July and have made coming to this park in the early morning a habit since my daughter was 1. I will grab an iced coffee at the Sanibel Bean, then we trot across the street and my daughter will play. Since it has those awesome sun shades I'm not super concerned with sunscreen, but... More
