A three hour trip off Sanibel Island to Fort Meyer Beach led by the marine specialists of the Sea School Staff located at Sun Dial Resort. Best for children between 10-13 years old. The staff was wonderful and very age appropriate. They were able to ignite a passion in the kids for sea life in a small group scenario

Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a review. We're glad your family could join us for a trip to Bunche Beach - the muddy mangrove forest there is one of our favorite local ecosystems to explore with kids. Our day program students vary in age from 6-13, and the class composition is different each day.... More

We decided to send the kids to sea school while on vacation. Two of our kids went to the Jellies class and really enjoyed it. We were going to have our 12 year old go but it looked as if it was more for little kids. The next day our son wanted to go back and went to the class... More

Thanks for taking the time to review us, we are so happy to hear that your kids enjoyed their time with us. We can often arrange for older kids to have more of a leadership role, helping our teachers lead the class but also learning lots about the ocean along the way - it could be a good option to... Our kids went to a class on manatees and one on ospreys while vacationing on Sanibel Island. They had a great time and learned so much about the the subjects in such a fun way. Dropped off our little guy for the afernoon and he had a great time. Spencer made us feel confident that he was in good hands and made our child feel welcomed. We learned a few things about the sea ourselves in the short time it took to drop off our boy. On the way home he fell asleep before we... More

We did a private class with our kids (ages 5 and 8) on echnioderms over spring break! Having an instructor present adds so much to your beach walk we learned so many really cool things about many things we had passed by on the beach on a walk earlier in the day! The teacher was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and great with... More

We love echinoderms, and we are so glad your family left with some new ocean knowledge. It's really amazing how many interesting creatures and specimens wash up on Sanibel's beaches. There's something new to be discovered every day! More

My 10yr old girl and my 13yr old boy had a blast. They could not say enough about Mr. Johnny and Ms. Elizabeth. They actually saw a large school of stingrays go right by them while out in the water. They can't stop talking about it. Great addition to the Sundial Resort. We will definitely be doing that again.

This is a MUST DO for kids on the island! It's so different than the mainstream camps that I was more excited than the girls. When they left the second session, they were quite sad it was over as they were so excited and wanted to do more! It was a great experience and taught them so much first hand... More

Our two kids did the half day program and had a blast! The facility is really cool, the instructors were super nice and the kids were really excited to tell us about the day. They were 7 and almost 6 when we went. We will be back for sure.

My four girls ages 10, 12, & 13 loved the classes at the Sundial Sanibel Sea School. They especially enjoyed being able to see Elizabeth each day. She was very patient and kind, answering all of their many, many questions.

My daughters (aged 9 and 11) took 1/2 day classes for 2 days in March over spring break. The staff were really knowledgeable and fun. They had so much fun!
