I have been visiting Sanibel Island for 13 years now and playing golf at the Dunes for 13 years. Great layout for a shorter course and accuracy is needed. Yes, there is water touching all 18 holes so bring plenty of golf balls. During the cooler weather the alligators sun themselves on the edge of the lakes and had some... More

At US$55 per round, this is very good value. However we were there out of their high season. However the 18th green is not for those who cannot be accurate.

I was vacationing in Sanibel/Captiva for the 4th of July weekend and we went to The Dunes for the celebration. It was a great choice. They were very accommodating to everyone's needs and very organized with the food and beer booths. Everyone was polite and kind. Great for the kids and the DJ was playing music for every taste. Stunning... More

Great golf course. The best part of the island. Was well maintained and the rates were very reasonable. Great scenery!

We stayed on the Dunes during our vacation and my partner and father played golf here throughout the holiday. The golf course is excellent, great condition and well maintained with numerous wildlife living in the ponds and surrounding areas! Carts were always cleaned and stocked by the caddy staff. Caleb is a credit to the establishment, who was also beyond... More

Good shape. Friendly people. Alligators gave us something to tell our friends about when we got home. But they were no trouble.

I am an avid golfer who has golfed around the world. This course presents more water than any other I've seen before. Hit them straight and take the right club or bring plenty of balls!! Awesome scenery. Excellent course.

I found the Dunes to be a well-maintained and managed golf/tennis/swim club, just over the causeway onto Sanibel Island. Rates were reasonable and they offer a variety of multi-day and monthly membership packages. Short (5600 yards), narrow, exacting course with water everywhere that rewards careful, precise shotmaking. Nice driving range (you hit into a lake, so you can get used... More

Wrote a review on Pointe Santo de Sanibel and included review of course. A little expensive, $115.00 for round but all 18 holes have water on them as the course is built around the lake. Plenty of photo ops. Well maintained course with small greens that were very consistent. You have to play it at least once.

We played at the Dunes in Feb 2014 and really enjoyed it. The course is in great condition and you need to be accurate with your shots because there is a lot of water! The only down side for us was to get the twilight rate you were not able to finish because it gets dark so early in February.... More
