Good course, don't let the yardage foul you. If you don't hit them straight bring extra balls. The weather hasn't been great or helpful for any courses this year in the area, its suppose to be the dry season. People should realize that the normal grass goes dormant and the grass doesnt recover that fast without reseeding . The wet... More

Played this course on Feb 1. Practice range was into a lake with floating golf balls. Not one shred of grass on the practice range... all sand with the occasional weed. T-Boxes were mostly sand, very little grass. Greens were sandy, with patches of grass applied in a feeble attempt to repair bare spots. Had to chase down the golf... More

Had a chance to golf here today. Sanibel is a lovely location and the scenery on the golf course is wonderful. First, the positive. While the course is not overly long (5200 yards from the back tees), there are some tricky holes that require good course management. There is water all over and you need to be cautious, especially when,... More

Experience the lush, tropical links on this 18-hole championship course designed by 10-time PGA winner, Mark McCumber. Set against a wildlife preserve sanctioned by the Audubon Cooperative Society, the course offers beautiful views and superb conditions while challenging skills on perfectly manicured greens. The facility includes the only practice range on Sanibel or Captiva islands.

One of tha nicest golfcourse near Fort Myers. The nature, birds, alligators and one old crogodile and beautyful layout of this course , make it worthwhile to visit. It is a bit shortern than par 73 courses but not easy. Lot of water hasards and bunkers, anyway we love it:) Take few extra balls with you and enjoy⛳️

Played this course 3 days in a row and really enjoyed. Good range of tees to choose from and course conditions were fine. Some of the greens had trouble spots but were being adressed. Wildlife viewing may distract your game but stay focused and scoring opportunities are there. Met some great people from all parts of the country and Canada.... More

Played this course three days in a row and would play it regularly if in the area. Over all the conditions were good but a few of the greens were under some seeding which is a good thing. Fairways were in good shape and the tees offered a good skill variation. If you can not hit the ball straight you... More

We cannot give enough praise to the team at the Dunes Golf & Tennis Club, our rehearsal dinner, wedding, & reception was handled perfectly by their curious & professional staff! The dedication to detail was amazing. We had a guest that was allergic to cilantro, they happily pointed out which items to stay away from on the buffet and the... More

We have played at The Dunes over the past 25 years and it has mostly been very consistent. We are from the NE and play a 6300 yard 100 year out Emmet course with very small greens. The Dunes has typically been in good to excellent condition-we are typically here in May, Oct & Nov. During these months it has... More
