Great location if you want to ride to the nature preserve. We were headed to Billy's but saw this one first (coming from Captiva) so we stopped in. The rates at Finnimore's were a little cheaper than Billy's. The staff was all very friendly. They encouraged us to test drive a few bikes before leaving, including the cool eliptical style... More

rented a beach umbrella from here. The umbrella was high quality and usually the best on the beach. $30 tax incl for the week seemed reasonable. I would rent here again. More

We rented 4 paddle boards from Finnimore's at 11am, and they were delivered (for only $20) at 1pm. None of us had ever tried it, so Jason gave us some quick pointers. After helping us bring them from the parking lot to the beach - much appreciated! We had a blast. Jason came back right on time to pick things... More

We spent the last day of our Gulf Coast vacation on Sanibel. We enjoy geocaching (if you want to know more about it, lookup www.geocaching.com) and knew there were several caches on Sanibel. Biking seemed like the best way to get around. Miles of mostly flat paved paths and motorists who are used to watching out for two-wheelers make this... More

Pleasant folks to work with, good service, they try to please; but... The bikes available to rent on a busy Sunday afternoon were tired machines, well-used and best suited for the junk market. We rented and rode, but experience would have been better if equipment available was less than fully amoritized. The old dogs should be retired. The other show... More

We have rented bicycles in a number of vacation stops and never have we seen worse equipment than here. The 6 speed cycles were heavy and my companions cycle had a brake that was sticking the entire time we were riding. It was as though you were towing a 40 pound dead weight behind your bike! More

After comparing Finnimore's with other bike rentals, these guys have the most competitive prices, best maintained bikes, most knowledgeable and helpful staff, and a really good location (in the middle of the island). You don't need a high-powered multi-shift bike for the flat island but you do need a reliable bike (check!), maps (check!), and one that fits your size... More

The staff here is awesome. We rented bikes the first day in Sanibel from them. We looked around at other bike shops but found their pricing to be the best. Not only were our bikes terrific they gave us local tips on good restaurants and the best way to route through the Ding National Wildlife Refuge. The Indigo Trail is... More

We have been coming to Sanibel for over 25 years and we have been going to Finnimore's just recently. Always great service and decent bikes. We think they have competitive prices and like their location! More

We just stayed on Sanibel for 7 days (first June week) and decided to rent bicycles for 2 adults and 2 kids (4 1/2 +8). Our 8-year old daughter had her own bike and we decided on a trailler bike for the younger child. Finnimore's staff was very helpful, and their rates competetive with the other places on island. They... More
