This is a place you don't want to miss! True antiques...not replicas. Very very organized! The medical section had anatomy teaching posters that were amazing...you have to see them to appreciate! Musical instruments to repurpose or display as well! I will be staying in touch...looking for a trumpet with nice engraving and functional.

This place was overflowing with so many incredible antique treasures! There is something for everyone here, from vintage cameras to old photographs to records and little knickknacks. The prices were reasonable and the owner was incredibly gracious in terms of negotiating prices and making deals.

The shop had a lot of items, but it is a single dealer shop so it was very well organized and clean! I was looking for a few specific items for a couple of collections and they two gentlemen running the shop were very helpful. Not pushy, but actually helpful!

An organized antique store is unheard of but how nice to be able to search and compare all from one spot! It is a small building with a lot in it. Whatever is small enough to fit in a drawer is in one and you must take it to the front counter to look through it, which makes sense. The... More

We could have stayed for hours. This store has a lot to offer. Everything is sorted into categories which makes searching a lot easier. We were on our honeymoon and found trinkets from where we grew up. The women working was extremely friendly and willing talk to us for a few minutes about where we came from and what we... More

I found the most lovely antique, hand-painted door knobs there. Two matching sets! Bill (and I apologize if I've gotten your name wrong!) could tell that I was truly in love with them and would give them a loving home. Then, he helped me find a salt & pepper shaker set that were marked "Florida." I couldn't leave without purchasing... More

A truly nice place. I have been to lots of shops and this was one of the most organized and has a wide variety of items for sale. Great postcard collection which has been sorted out by state and category. Prices were as I expected. Staff was nice and not rude as reported in prior posts.

I don't know much about antiques but this store is full of them. It was well organized into categories to make searching easier. My son found the couple things he was seeking at reasonable prices. Had to go back a second time for the rest of my adult kids!

Islander Trading Post is the coolest antique shop I've ever been to. They have an enormous collection of items. Military, Boy Scouts, music, books, advertising, medical, etc. You name it they have it. At times it's a little overwhelming and hard to take it all in. I've seen reviewers saying the staff is unpleasant, but I asked the guy there... More

We visited both shops, one at the end of Periwinkle and one on the other end of Periwinkle. They have a large variety of "stuff". The prices was a bit high but remember we are on a Private Island. If you want it bad enough you'll take it home. Again I overheated and got sick and had to run across... More
