Small but large.

We have been here for a couple of shows and were not disappointed. The actors are top notch. Every seat is great.

This fantastic theatre is often overlooked, and should be a must visit on every theatre lovers list. I have seen many performances with my friends and family. It is first class all the way. Actors, seats, acoustics. Children's tickets are usually only $5.00 and there is no limit. I have even celebrated my daughters birthday there with a group of... More

We were in town for the final week of Freud's Last Session. The call to the box office was informative and efficient as well as accurate. We wanted to keep options open so we wanted to buy tickets at the door. The approximately 150 seat Theatre was very intimate, all seats were good, the sound was particularly good , the... More

Over the years we've gone to many shows at the Schoolhouse Theatre, never been disappointed. A great way to support the arts on the Island. We saw "The Big Bang" out last visit. I'm always amazed at the incredible talent the Theatre has brings in

Too bad more people don't take advantage of the productions, they are professional and fun and well done.

I've been going to the schoolhouse theater for years, and the past few years have been their best. It's one of the highlights of the Island! Trey Compton and Mikey LoBalsamo were brilliant in this season's "The Big Bang".

We enjoyed two presentations at the theatre this season, Romance/Romance and Love Letters. Both were quite well done, and it was a treat to add these events to our time on Sanibel. The theatre is small, so there are no bad seats. While Romance/Romance is not a favorite play of mine, the actors were strong both musically and dramatically. I... More

This is a small intimate theater with seats on 3 sides. Great actors and plays. We saw :"Into the Woods" musical and we really enjoyed the show.

We visit Captiva every January, and always look forward to seeing a play at this intimate community theater. The quality of the productions is very good, and always entertaining
