LOVED these gift shops, we went to both locations. Staff was informative and friendly. HUGE variety of shells to choose from. Some from of the shells are from Sanibel/Captiva Islands and some are not, their bins are clearly marked. A MUST for gifts for friends and family back home. NO tacky, cheap, knickknack souvenirs here! Only affordable, quality merchandise in... More

An amalgam of a lot of shops, clothing to beach items to artwork and even a restaurant. If shopping if your thing, this one's pretty nice.

This is the main street on Sanibel Island. Filled with wonderful shops, restaurants, and services. Our favorite spot is Periwinkle Plaza. So many cute shops and the Blue Giraffe is a wonderful lunch spot. But so many choices all along Periwinkle Way

All of what you may want to see, shop or eat is mostly along this road. \I find it great that the maximum speed limit was 30 mph and you have to give way to pedestrians and bike riders.

Great outdoor shopping center with only two name brand stores!Lots of t shirt and surf shops and cool different stores in between. Pretty grounds with fountains and very well maintained.

This is a must see area for anyone visiting Sanibel. There is a bike path going through the entire area. There are many interesting shops and eateries on both sides of Pariwinkle Way that just beckon to be explores.

For better or worse, they advertise Sanibel as having no spotlights. While it's true, the traffic does get backed up. Lot of great shops on the way.

My family and I have vacationed on Sanibel Island since 1998. Other than the beaches, we spend most of our time on Periwinkle Way. Periwinkle Way is the HEART of Sanibel Island. Here is located most of the restaurants, shops, and sites. My family and I enjoy biking from one end of island to the other, most of which is... More

It can be difficult taking a left onto Periwinkle. Just take your time and wait your turn and all is well.

As Sanibel has almost no chain businesses (only exceptions are a DQ, 7/11 and Holiday Inn, everything is one of a kind. The shops and restaurants are all privately owned and this is part of the charm of Sanibel.
