I'm normally not a fan of gimmicky attractions and I've always considered "jet boat" style tours to be just that. In many places they are. (Note: the Sanibel Thriller is not a jet boat, but is similar in style.) We had spent a long weekend on Sanibel and wanted something else to do on the morning of our departure since... More

My husband and I visited Sanibel Island for our anniversary. After doing some research one of the must do's was this activity, the Sanibel thriller. Tickets are about $ 42 per adult, which to me were totally worth it. We arrived on Saturday around 8:30am for a tour which departed at 10am. Seats on the boat are first come, first... More

We loved our trip on the Sanibel Thriller. The boat takes you around Sanibel and Captiva Islands. The BEST part is all of the playful dolphins you will see. Our captain did a great job locating the dolphins and gave us the best photo opts. It is not a thrill ride, but the thrill of seeing the dolphins at play... More

OK, the soundtrack may not have been the best (M Jacksons Thriller) but once you get going they switched to satellite radio. Then there are the dolphins. They love the wake of this power boat and the captain of the boat is good at getting them to ride behind us. I got some nice shots and a really wonderful video... More

We took a ride on The Thriller the first week of August. Our guide was excellent, he provided us with interesting details and made the history of the island fun and interesting. The Captain was also amazing, he was friendly and very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, and highly recommend it to visitors of every age! We saw so... More

I took my tween and teen on this boat tour and had a great time. My tween said it was the highlight of her trip. The captain found pods of dolphin right away and they put on quiet a show for us! It was also nice to have the tour around the island. Would definitely recommend this attraction to others.

This was a family fun ride enjoyed by all (2 adults and a 15 and 14 yr old). Got seats near to the back but not the back row, and we were in line at least half hour before departure so get there early if you are keen for the back row. In the end it made little difference to... More

I have to admit this was fun. Sit in the back if you can so you can photograph the dolphins as they follow the wake. The quide will tell you all about the Island and the larger than life houses on Captivia. I want to go again. My Grandson and I waved everyday when they went by. Thriller...................

We enjoyed a wonderful excursion aboard the Sanibel Thriller. The staff was friendly and helpful and the time out on the Gulf was fantastic. Dolphins caught a wave and frolicked in our wake and the historical overview of the area was interesting. I would definitely do it again.

This was a phenomenal experience. You get a beautiful view of Sanibel and Captiva along with getting to interact with dolphins. It's a great way to experience the islands and learn their history. Tip for seating: People in the far left seats got wet. So sit towards the middle or right. For better views of the dolphins, sit towards the... More
