We took this trip as a group activity before my daughters Sanibel beach wedding. Having a home on the island and wintering here for 4 seasons and visiting for many more before that, we have seen the boat going around the island often. I thought it would be a little lame and touristy but I figured the guests (all adults)... More

My grandkids (ages 6&8) were thrilled to wake up early to get their place in line on 4/5/14 for a ride on the Sanibel Thriller. We booked the 10:00 am tour, so we arrived at 8:40( we were asked to be arrive no later than 9:30) to get in the front of the line- they wanted the back row for... More

We have been coming to Sanibel for many years but this was our first trip on the Sanibel Thriller. It was a thrill to see the dolphins so close up! hey really did seem to be having fun. I did the 10:00 am trip so it was a bit chilly but they gave us all raingear to keep us dry.... More

What a waste of money ($43 each plus tax). On the day of reservations we made for four guests, my wife and me, the weather was foggy and obviously dangerous for a boating excursion, so we called to cancel and were informed that it is the Thriller’s “policy” not to give refunds or rainchecks--first we had heard of this. At... More

After many years of visiting Sanibel, we decided to try the Sanibel Thriller. (Get there early!) After a long wait in a pleasant seating area, our turn to board the Thriller came. We chose seats according the waiting queue, though I saw no bad seats. The cruise was at about 40 knots, which does put your hair back. (Watch your... More

We have been looking for the best dolphin experience in the area and would definitely recommend Sanibel Thriller. There were many dolphins in our wake and we had a great time. Our guide was very versed in the history of the area as well as wildlife found there. We saw a gorgeous sunset and were very pleased with the entire... More

This is probably one of the best excursions we have ever done on vacation. The boat was comfortable and we could hear the tour guide perfectly. The guide was very knowledgable and the information was interesting for all ages. We worried a bit about sea sickness but the ride was smooth. The MOST wonderful part of this experience was the... Took the 12:30pm trip. It really was a thriller of a ride. The narrator knew the history of the islands and the homes and residents. The captain of the Thriller knew where to find the dolphins and get them to follow the boat and leap and play behind the boat. An amazing sight! The ride itself was fast and "thrilling".... More

We have brought friends and family to see this, what a great ride! So much wildlife in this area, crazy that these dolphins will jump as close to the boat as they do. Ding Darling, The Thriller and a buffalo hot dog at Schnapper's Hots! Great day!!!

I went on a 10:30am tour. I had an incredible time. It was simply amazing. The boat ride was fun. The narration was very interesting. It was fun to learn the history of the island I have been visiting for so many years. But, when we found pods of dolphins and they swam, played and jumped behind the boat, I... More
