Lots of interesting little shops to visit and an old book store with lots of seating to relax and peruse. Easy parking most of the time. Library is located near here too.

Downtown Sanford is a great place with lots of cool things to see and experience. There are parks nearby and pathways to walk along the Riverwalk if you have kids. My wife and I also enjoy experiencing the great restuarants in this area and the cool shops. Downtown Sanford is slowly becoming a Micro- Brewery destination too with some that... More

We moved to Sanford, Florida just over a year ago and are quite pleased with our decision. Sanford is a historic quaint town of businesses, small shops, art galleries, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and craft breweries located on the banks of Lake Monroe. The town is vibrant and growing with a number of new businesses either recently opened or scheduled... More

I loved how before and after 5 this place is a totally different experience. Found an art gallery with an upstairs and ended up buying art, several cool bars.

We visited downtown Sandford on Martin Luther King Day 2016. Nice place to walk around with ample free parking. Most of the shops were closed when we visited but we enjoyed looking around anyway. There were several restaurants that were open for lunch. There was also a Historic Sandford visitors center which is worth stopping in.
