LOVED this zoo! After reading reviews, we only budgeted for about 2 hours, but we could have spent WAY more time than that. At the very least, it is a beautiful walk on nice groomed grounds and built up walkways. We had a double stroller side by side and never had an issue getting to anything. Beyond the animals, there's... More

Visited 4/7/15 and bought the family 4 pack for three levels of ropes course for $172... The workers put you through the safety course and there is a practice area before you head out on your own into the trees. Our group had people from age 11 to 59. If you like adventure and challenge, this was a fun activity.... More

Fun for the whole family. Prices are reasonable with discounts for children and seniors. Children 2 and under are free. There are loads of trees so there is plenty of shade and many benches to sit and rest on. Almost every animal you can think of is represented. The children will love the carousel and the playgrounds with slides, swings... More

Rather small and way over priced. Not many animals. Staff was kind of differert. The Giraffe exhibithe was very good. The aligator exhibit and Florida native animals was very lacking. Not many birds and no "African" type animals that you would expect. Where were the Bears.

Thanks for visiting the Zoo. We are a small zoo with limited space. Because of that we cannot house large free roaming animal exhibits that you may see with African zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, etc. And we are currently fundraising to build a new American black bear exhibit. We hope you come back again when it opens. It will be quite... More

Lots of space for kids to run. Lots of animals, birds, snakes, and misc. Loved the water park to get them soaked.

We visited the zoo with our four year old grandaughter who very much enjoyed the day; most of the animals are viewed from a boardwalk. There is a play area and a nice water splash area. However please be aware that there are no shows during week days only weekends and holidays which was extremely disappointing; also there was only... More

I took my kids here w/a friend and her kids. All 4 are under the age of 5. We had a nice time but a large thunder storm came up and we were stranded trying to stay under a small covered park bench area. After the rain we continued our visit. We were walking on the boardwalk that goes through... More

Thanks for the review. We're sorry it rained on you. I have passed your comments along. Power washing the boardwalks is a continuously scheduled item in the park, but we will take a look to see if we can increase the times. And definitely check into a family annual pass. They really are the best deal. More

This zoo is not what you'd expect from a ZOO. It is not huge and it is missing a few species of animals. It is however a nice, little place where you can spend time watching the animals in peace, under the shady canopy of old trees. They have a little water park in the front, big enough for the... Six adults and one child (3 years old) visited for the first time. This was a great experience. The 3 year old rode a camel. We all loved seeing all of the animals and taking the train ride. -Bathroom facilities are readily available.
