We have been to Florida lots of times and so we were looking for somewhere a little different. This zoo is quite small but the animals are well kept and in brilliant surroundings. A nice place to spend a couple of hours.

This was my first visit here, and I enjoyed every minute. It's a very well kept facility, with plenty of room if you want to walk, but still with that small place vibe to it. We came in the morning, and only stayed for till about 1:00 (because Summer in Florida is really hot), but this Zoo could definitely qualify... More

This zoo is not for everyone. The scope of the animals is limited. If you looking for a zoo with lions, tigers, elephants, hippos, monkey house; this is not the place. However, if you looking for a place to spend a few hours with young children this place is for you. Spent a Saturday morning with our granddaughter and we... More

After almost 2 years since last time we went I was very surprised how nicely and clean is the zoo now. New animals all over the zoo. Staff was very helpful. Kids loved the water splash. Military discount is a plus. Coming back very soon.

After our hectic schedule it was a nice place to wonder around at our own pace. It is small but in the heat it was enough and we cooled down in the splash zone area. Staff we saw were all helpful and knowledgeable and my daughter enjoyed feeding the giraffes.

We visited on a typical July day in Florida. It was hot. Heat is to be expected, but there was very little shade or resting places to get away from the heat (or rain!) There were also not many vending places to get snacks or water. The animals were hot too, so there weren't many out or active! There were... More

Thanks for the review. Yes, July is HOT in Florida. And like us, the animals just want to curl up somewhere cool. Did you cool off in the splash ground? We also have air conditioned spaces like the Insect Zoo and Reptile House. Hope you found them. More

We visited this place on 2nd August 2015. First I entered the address on their web site in the Garmin and it leaded us to a different place. We had to ask for directions to reach there. Car parking was muddy and was not suitable at all. I was thinking of cancelling the whole thing but I decided to go... More

Thanks for the review and the feedback. We are aware of the Garmin issue giving incorrect directions. We have notified them of the problem several times and hope that they will be able to correct it soon. We have also reported the "out of order" vending machine to the company that maintains them. We are a small Zoo with 47... More

Great place to take young kids, especially. We are members and as grand parents we can just pop in whenever we have our grand kids. Also, other zoos will honor your membership and only charge half price. There is a good little splash pad for the kids and a changing room nearby if they need to put on dry clothes.... More

First time going to this zoo. My nieces (3 & 5yo) love animals. Last year we went to Animal Kingdom because of that, but we were disappointed with the number of animals. So we decided to try the zoo because of the price. Yes, it's Not the greatest zoo on earth, but we'll come back in the future. The girls... More
