We had a great time at this small zoo. We went after 3pm so the price was discounted but it was enough time to see all the animals. It wasn't too busy. It was set up really nice and most animals had large cages. Worth a visit.

One of the best kept secrets in Sanford/ Seminole County. This medium sized zoo has plenty to offer in amenities, animals, hospitality, and its fun for all ages. Water Park/Play area for the kids check, Zoom Air obstacle course for older children and adults check, special events for couples check, lions tiger and bears oh my..check, mini train ride for... This was fine, but is really for young families. The animals looked well taken care of but were in cages that seemed too small. I felt sad for the big cats. It was a little overpriced I thought. Several of the areas charged an additional amount to participate. If you pack a picnic and have a young family you could... More

We have been members of the zoo for several years, and it just keeps getting better and better. We have a Grandparent’s Pass which costs about $100 for an entire year. We take 3 of our grandchildren at least 2-3 times per month. A train ride/carousel 20 ride ticket can be purchased for $20. The animals seem to be very... More

I was surprised to see so many different animals & exhibits at this zoo, especially for not being in a major city. Also, the zip line courses look amazing although we haven't spent the money yet to try them.

First I have to safety - great staff - it started to rain and they offered us a rain check - wonderful. Came back next day - everything is clean and well maintained but some of the animals were in small enclosures. some seem sad as they are alone - not a large selection. Glad I visited, but manage expectations.

Thanks for the review. We appreciate all feedback. The Zoo tries to house animals based on their behaviors in the wild. Not all animals enjoy being with other animals. If an animal is a solitary animal in the wild, then we will continue that behavior at the Zoo. Thanks for visiting. More

I'm giving this a very good because I like small zoos and this was a nice one. There was a surprisingly large variety of wildlife here, it was a nice uncrowded spot on a January Monday and not too exhausting. This is not your typical central Florida experience, don't expect a lot of flashy Disney-type stuff. But there is a... More

While visiting this small zoo, I could only think that it was a splendid place for a young family. The variety of large animals is limited but the smaller animals abound with great insect and reptile collections and plenty of extra activities. If possible and to escape the hustle and bustle of the attractions, I would add this quaint destination... More
