My 7 year old daughter and I visited the zoo before flying out of the Sanford airport. The zoo is very small and could easily be viewed in an hour. We spent around 2 hours total in the zoo itself (with at least 30 minutes of that being spent on the playground) and then spent a little more time on... More

Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feedback. Having an annual pass not only helps to support that Zoo, but also allows you to visit over 150 other AZA Zoos at a discount. Like ours, most Zoos offer a 50% reciprocal admission. We're glad you could take advantage of this great deal. But we're sorry you didn't enjoy our... More

This Zoo afforded us the opportunity to do a close up encounter with their Rhinos. There is an extra cost to do this, but it is well worth it for this unique experience. Friendly staff members and very clean!

Thanks for the review and the stars. And thanks for plugging our rhino encounters with Jahi and PJ. They love being rubbed on and invite everyone to give it a try. More

I wish I could say better things because I know that zoos are hard to maintain, and the animals are doing their best to be interesting, but honestly, for the price, I thought it was sadly low-budget. I did like the option of listening to a recorded guide at each exhibit on my phone. That was helpful. I really did... More

Love to go to the zoo with the granddaughters (2 & 4) on our annual family pass. Great way to spend a morning or afternoon and a pleasure to walk around. Lots of shade in the summer and the animals are close enough for the little ones to see. The bird show was fun and the girls always love to... More

This lovely zoo is a perfect way to stroll around away from the mad theme parks, the animals are close to the public and staff there are on hand for all questions and advice. There us a small cafe for refreshments and shelters dotted around for shade. Car parking is close to the zoo so no long walk to the... More

What a great zoo. Just the right size to be walking- friendly but big enough to be spacious. It was a cold day on our visit and lots of animals wisely decided to stay hidden. Lots of school parties visiting but all well behaved albeit rather loud and excitable. Amazing animals that I have never heard of before let alone... More

My grandkids love going to the zoo so on Feb 17 I took the 2 of them to the zoo but saw so many things that said "this zoo isn't family friendly'. Few observations" * Staff members pass you and never acknowledge you even to nod and say hello * Ramps are not stroller friendly * Alot of bee's in... More

We had a great time at this small zoo. We went after 3pm so the price was discounted but it was enough time to see all the animals. It wasn't too busy. It was set up really nice and most animals had large cages. Worth a visit.
