I was really disappointed with this zoo. It's more like a rednecks yard. It was my 2nd visit, last being 10 years ago. I was hoping things would've improved, but they didn't, and the price is $15 to get in now. Not worth it. My biggest issue is with the animals. Most of them were agitated and seem caged instead... It's gotten so much better in the last year if you haven't been take another look! More animals, more info, a splash park for the kids, and a great animal feeding area. Heads up bring some extra cash, you little one will want to ride the train and it's not included in admission. Plus they have some pretty cool adventures... More

Average zoo kept very well. No lions or elephants however which seems unusual. Animals look well fed and cages very clean. Impressed with the amount of outdoor fans for the animals to keep cool. It was 94 degrees outside

Like any other zoo it had quite a variety of animals from near and far. They also had paint ball. and zip lining as side attractions. I was in a wheel chair and felt the wood walkways a bit while going over them. Should be no problem for walking though. If you have some time and not anything to do,... More

little pricey for adults. Animals did not seem to have much area to romp. Educational sessions were the best part, especially Nick with the snakes. Petting zoo was 1/2 open. Lots of kids interactive areas. Zoo was clean. Staff very nice.

They did have a few rides for kids and a water play area which was great for heat however the lunch place was quite overpriced as was $15 adult ticket I thought. They had a variety but seemed a little disheveled for the animals compared to others I've visited. All in all it was worth every penny for my grandkids.

The zoo didn't have many animals like you would expect at a zoo. The cost of 14.95 per person was crazy because the biggest part was the nature walk. Save your money and go to a real zoo like in Denver.

Nice zoo but kinda small. Expect to do plenty of walking but there is plenty of shade. Parking area isn't that big but the zoo wasn't really crowded. My daughter had a good time. Gift shop was nice and pleasant.

Brought my two kids to the Central Florida Zoo during the summer, just before school started, so we could enjoy the zoo and the extra activities they have. My son is 11 and my daughter is 6. The zoo animals were nicely spread out, active and available to see; definitely a plus! I also loved the Audio tour that you... More

Fairly clean for a zoo. Small selection of animals, however does have a nice clean gift shop, and a brand new Zip Line Course. Picnic tables are also availalbe. The Zoo is located right on the Lake Monroe north side, not too distant from Interstate 4 and US 17&92, just outside of Sanford. Worth a trip for young kids and... More
