I visited Flea World one last time this past July of 2015. It was sad walking through the aisles and there were still a few vendors there. I said hello to some of them, got a few items for keepsakes, and wished them well. I will miss all the memories of the times my children and I went there on... More

I had a list of free things to do in Orlando that included Flea World, the "biggest flea market in the US". Ok, so it is not exactly in Orlando, but with no other plans for the day, I decided to drive there today (a Sunday). Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. Although still open, there were many empty shops... More

I went with three other ladies to Flea World in Sanford last weekend. The place was pitiful. Most of the shops were closed and there were very few shoppers milling around. It was a huge disappointment and I would recommend that if someone were interested in going to a flea market that they try Webster or Renningers. I am sure... More

Flea World is closing at the end of this year/beginning of 2016. And some vendors have already relocated- if you have someone you visit frequently, I would suggest seeing them to get their business card before they move. There are still some great deals to be found here and some great people that work here. That being said, we all... More

Drove 60 miles round trip to visit the largest flea market in America. Arrived 9 am and an elderly gentleman handed me a map at entrance. I drove around to market and it was empty. Closed for good the previous Sunday

We had a great time here. Two adults, a 7 year old and 17 year old and we all found all kinds of treasures!

We stopped in on a Friday morning and it was dead. A lot of the booths were empty. Maybe Saturdays and Sundays are better. Maybe February is off season for the flea market. We ended up with a pair of socks and a Florida magnet. Since we made our way out there from Orlando we decided to explore downtown Sanford... More

Some great deals on handbags, sunglasses plants and designer shoes. There wasnt anything I did not like accept I needed more time to shop and my companions were ready to go.

We stopped out at Flea World to check it out and while it is enormous , once you go up one lane and down another , you probably have seen it all, but I guess this holds true of all flea markets. The guy who use to sell nuts is gone that was there a few years ago, but other... More

The Flea Market is not the same anymore. I remember when I used to go and there was that feeling of being on a Flea Market; you know, the unique treasures, the bargain and more. Now is like a bunch of stores selling the same stuff a lot of them. Also some days you go and it is empty and... More
