We were coming back from Hilton Head and had an extra day on Memorial Day Weekend. Sharon Alvin , behind the desk at the visitor center was very helpful in calling hotels on a very busy weekend to find us a place to stay.She also filled us in on area attractions. Ever since James Oglethorpe found this beautiful place with its majestic live oaks and Spanish moss.Travelers from around the world have came and settled this magnificent paradise.Even in the winter theres always something amazing happening .My favorite spot is the lighthouse where i watched the surprise and eat breakfast.Its also the place that i proposed to my wife.
