I attended a production of Hair a few years ago and it was wonderful to see it outside. It brought back a good vibration of past outdoor events. May need bug spray...

We walked through here during our own walking tour of downtown St. Pete. Nice park along the water next to marina and small plan airport. Plenty of space for kids & dogs to run around. We thought Vinoy Park was a little nicer but this was still nice to walk through, have a picnic, etc.

My hubs and I meet here for lunch and sit and watch the water. We bring a salad or sushi from Publix and enjoy the St Pete weather. Love this place.

Shakespeare in the Park is performed here and several other events. It is located at the end of 1st Street S. This is where The St Petersburg Yacht Club sailing team is located. Place for kids to swing and slide.

I have seen plays and concerts in this park. It is very intimate and quaint. Bring your own chairs or blanket and enjoy the play or concert.

I've been going to this park since I was a child and now I can bring my own kids. It's a small park on the waterfront, but still has ample space for the kids to run and play. The playground has been updated to new equipment since I was a kid and it was pretty clean. You can still watch... More

Demens Landing Park is where the homeless in downtown St. Petersburg hang out at dusk and after dark to get their shut-eye. There's even a truck that comes along every evening to provide the homeless with free coffee, donuts, and sandwiches. If you don't believe me, just watch the documentary "Easy Street," which profiles the huge homeless population in downtown... More

Very nice area to relax in. Fairly easy parking. The whole area of downtown St Pete at the water is landscaped beautifully and this is at the quite end of the strip. We sat there for quite a while enjoying the breeze, looking at the boats in the marina, etc. Bring a brunch to enjoy!

I like this little park. We found it last summer when my son was in sailing camp at the Sailing Center near the bridge. We would drive to the end of the park and watch him sail out to the pier. There are plenty of picnic tables and even a little dock. Most of the park is surrounded by the... More

This small island park is a short walk from downtown St. Pete. It seems EVERYTHING in town happens at the small bridge onto Demens Landing. There are picnic areas, restrooms, a great view of Tampa Bay and The Pier and the place is lovely at night. Folks fish off the sea wall and most catch a lot of fish. Dolphins... More
