Great downtown park with stunning views

Superb spot to take in some fresh air amongst the sailboats of the St Pete Boat Basin or watch the take offs and landings from Albert Whitted Airport.

A playground for children, picnic pavillons available on the water. View of Albert Witted Airport so you can watch planes taking off & landing and sailboats/boats.

I often bike through this lovely little slice of nature. Right on the water. First, climb the steps to see the beautiful marina full of boats, watch the sailboats drifting in or out, and watch the small planes landing at or taking off from historic Alfred Whitted Airport. Several small picnic pavilions invite you to relax a while. Walk along... More

We enjoyed a casual walk from the Vinoy hotel to the far end . Passing the Marinas and visiting the museums in the well kept park.

A very nice park with plenty of trees and nice views of the water, the marina, the (closed) pier and downtown St. Pete. Lots of water birds to see. Very relaxing to picnic in. People told us that the pier was going to be torn down soon and replaced, so we made sure to take pix of it. Parking was... More

Love this little park. We have work functions here sometimes. Not a lot of room to spread out but the shelters are nice and you can sit along the seawall or a bench and watch the planes land at Albert Whitted airport.

I'd guess many travelers don't comment on Demens Landing Park as it can be overlooked. Located on the Bay, in the heart of downtown St Pete, it's a quiet place close to Dali. There's a small walking bridge and it's best viewed at night for a romantic walk from the restaurants.

A free public waterfront park with a wonderful playground for the kids and plenty of grassy space with picnic tables spread out nearby. There are shade trees and park bench's to rest upon intermittently along the miles of waterfront trail. Also, bring your binoculars, so much wildlife to observe in the bay. This very scenic park is enjoyed by all,... More
