This wee park has narrow paths and a slight hill with a tree canopy. Fine for a picnic for water watching in the shade. Near soccer stadium

This park is right downtown between bay and beach. By the way, beach in not on the beach! Plenty of restaurants and museums in the area.

Looking for a place to take a nice little stroll and walk around water. Pioneer Park is located in a nice area in St. Petersburg. There are plenty of benches to take a break. It is cool and shady.

Not a destination by any means, but a nice little shady block on the water. No real draw. Some benches and shade are nice.

This small park is just south of St Petersburg Yacht Club & across the street from the club's marina & just north of Al Lang Field. The large Sat morning market is just adjacent and worth a trip on Sat morning. Grab a sandwich & enjoy it in the park. Then walk north along the beautiful St Petersburg waterfront. Dog... More

This is not the sort of place you go out of your way to visit, but if you happen to be in the neighborhood, it offers a shady respite From the sun for a few minutes. It's just a block, not on the same order as other parks in St Peyersburg.

It was great to sit and enjoy the beautiful sun rise. I picked up a cup of coffee at Starbucks and walked from the hotel to the park to watch the sun rise, it was so relaxing!

This block has been completely new landscaping. From the sidewalks to the smaller trees, flowers and shrubbery everything is new. The city shined up the memorial in the center and made the perfect place to sit and feed the pigeons, walk a dog or read a book. Combined with the weather in St Petersburg it makes a lovely day. I... Pioneer Park is a great little place to visit after having breakfast (inexpensive) at Ceviche's a block east of it. The park is quiet, unobtrusive, and a great place to read the paper. It is only one-square block, but there are plenty of benches since it is usually uncrowded. You get a nice breeze off the marina basin across the... More
