Ridiculously cheap. Every year when the family visits, we take the stroll down the pathways and walkways of Boyd Hill. The kids like seeing all the birds, the plants, frogs and alligators. It's a nice long time to spend on beautiful nature trails and boardwalks for so little. Inside there are places for the kids to play, and the staff... More

This is a great place to see aligators and a variety of birds. It is perfect for kids. Even if the weather is not great for going to the beach, this is a perfect alternative. They have an indoor place we took our granddaughter and she had a wonderful time. They also have a tram but you will need to... More

Wasn't given much options when it came to nature parks in the area but needed to go get some sun. This place was great. Lots of wildlife, fantastic dirt trails spanning a few miles it seemed. Sad that it was right by a somewhat busy road but the place was so big you didnt even hear the traffic. Would absolutely... More

A little nature in a big city....A great spot to visit tucked away.... You can also take your lunch with you and enjoy the peace and quiet. Also you get to learn about nature things that you did not know.

My husband and I took our son(12), daughter (9) and niece (6) here. It was a little rainy, but not bad. We saw an alligator, so that was cool. There were lots of birds and could see fish. We really enjoyed the trails around the marsh/water. We spent about 2-3 hours, but we didn't walk all trails. We didn't stay... More

We recently took a tram tour of this 248 acre jewel in St Petersburg Fl. Ken our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge and we learned so much about the history of this wonderful park. We were lucky to see alligators, many species of birds , snakes and land tortoises. The admission price is very reasonable and the educational... More

I was fortunate enough to experience the group camping here at Boyd Hill. It's rustic, but that's a big part of the charm. If you have a group, especially kids, and want to experience real Florida, check into the group camping or even just a day here. It's inexpensive and the staff is super friendly and really enjoys teaching young... More

This is not in the greatest of areas in other words you wouldn't want to be here when it gets dark. Pretty simple and plain park there are much better ones. Sawgrass park lake Seminole park

We took the tram tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. The guide was engaging, knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy teaching us about the park. We saw alligators, tortoises and many birds. We were ages 4 months to 85 and everyone loved it.

If you are disabled like I am and a pusher/power chair user, this scenic trail offers a lot of scenic views. There are some bumps in the road and sidewalks, but nothing steep you can't manuever around. The trail is somewhat accessible with boardwalks and flat ground areas to roll over. If you come to gravel, there will be flat... More
