We took the bike tour through the sanctuary, then were allowed to explore the park on our own. Well maintained, huge alligators, nesting birds, lots of turtles, fish, and animals all in their natural settings. We had a wonderful time and learnid so much.

Great way to introduce children to this area's natural environment. See and learn about our native animals including snakes and spiders and alligators safely with a dedicated staff just waiting to introduce you to central Florida.

What a great park! We walked the park in just under 2 hours. We stopped to take photos of the lotuses and lily pads. We saw baby alligators. Tons of elderberry bushes. We were almost attacked by bees on this one route. Saw one, saw a few....nope! We ran back and almost died again by stepping on a snake! LOL... More

$3 admission for a walking tour. We would have been happy to pay $2 more to take the trolley but it only runs once a day and was already full. Saw some baby alligators.

If you want to get into nature and the great outdoors with out leaving the city....this is it. Its a place where time has forgot. What the city looked like before being paved over. You will never know what pants and wildlife you will see in your travel around the park. I use to go there as a kid back... More

We were staying over in Clearwater on the way to Naples and happened on this jewel of an attraction. The price of entry and tram ride are ridiculously cheap, under $20 for a family of 4 TOTAL! There are guided tram rides as well as walking paths. There are several (10ish) large birds (bald eagle, owls, etc) in the sanctuary... More

A great morning - started with a golf buggy tour with one of the volunteers. Very knowledgable and helpful. We saw baby aligators, turtles, tortoises and birds. Plus all the different butterflies. The caged birds apparently are all there as they are damaged- but small area for them... Gift shop, and centre really good and informative off the track from normal... More

Ridiculously cheap. Every year when the family visits, we take the stroll down the pathways and walkways of Boyd Hill. The kids like seeing all the birds, the plants, frogs and alligators. It's a nice long time to spend on beautiful nature trails and boardwalks for so little. Inside there are places for the kids to play, and the staff... More

This is a great place to see aligators and a variety of birds. It is perfect for kids. Even if the weather is not great for going to the beach, this is a perfect alternative. They have an indoor place we took our granddaughter and she had a wonderful time. They also have a tram but you will need to... More
